Tried a few laps of Bathurst in the Red Sow and Ginetta Junior last night. Merc handles like a wardrobe on stilts, but sounds great. Ginny is precise, but you feel the lack of power when climbing the hill.

Keep the controller switched on and the headset connected to that.

I have found that even if not bought or downloaded the new cars i can use them online of someone else has set up the room. Anyone else notice this??

It's a pretty cool feature, other games stop you joining servers if you don't have the content, it's almost try before you buy nice touch.

Edit: I really don't understand why the ovals didn't get released too...

I understand it is licencing issues with Ovals.

Nice pack, wanted the Vette for a while and the DW12 should be good fun, for not even 3 quid it is well worth it.

Not really a surprise. I've had PCars working on the DK2 so it's had VR capability in there for sometime.
Assetto Corsa works as well and iracing have done a superb job.
LFS is also a pretty good implementation even if the game itself isn't the best.
I've heard Dirt Rally also works but not tried it myself.
VR is absolutely superb for racing sims.

I'm itching to get my hands on one, but I'm probably going to wait 12 months and see if I can pick one up second hand. Some early adopters are all "oooh shiny!" then get bored with it... I'm pretty sure I'm going to need to be very lucky to get one at a massive discount, but if it really gets a hold and sells well maybe the prices will come down...all the big players will have their hardware out by then. #pricewars
