There are rumours of that happening and also GT7 or whatever it's called.

I wonder if they'll update the PS4 version to use the Playstation headset.
They don't need to, Project Cars works with Oculus Rift and head tracking, it's the same principal for PlayStation version. It was announced during PCars development so I would be very surprised if they haven't had development hardware. VR is supposed to be awesome for racing games (as long as you don't get motion sickness). I'm really looking forward to getting one, but I'm not jumping in until the technology has settled down and there are a good number of user reviews around.

It may look like I have some tireless crusade again VR on PS4, but there's no way Project Cars will run on a the PS4 VR headset.

To fully realise a 3D world in VR, the PS4 will have to render two images. One for each eye. Project Cars runs at 1080 at 60fps on a single screen... You'd be looking at 720 res at 30 fps (with the details tuned down) for each screen before the PS4 even has a chance of handling the load. This will make everyone sick. Physically actually properly ill. I don't suffer motion sickness (in real life) at all, and VR on anything less than 60fps minced my brain. And even at 1080p, the screens are so close to the eye they look dreadful. At 720 it'll be 90's style res on a CRT monitor.

If you want to give it a go, try playing a 3D game on a 2D screen (GT6 is good for this, as you can alter the depth perception) for any length of time (with the depth set to maximum). It's a similar principle. Two images are being rendered so the res is halved. And the 3D effect makes it feel as if your eyes are being pulled out of their sockets. It's very strange, it's massively immersive, but it's not physically possible to play for more than 10 minutes.

I hate using the term physically so often, but, in this case, it's the right word.

I'm running this with a G25 wheel and pedal set.

When you are going over bumps and the wheel starts to force feedback, do you find it helps if you hold the wheel still with your hands or whether you allow the force feedback.

Apparently not. I was rather hoping for that, too!

Is anyone else using Overwolf? - http://store.overwolf.com/apps/

If you haven't heard of it its an overlay system for games, allowing you to run apps for the game you are using, capture or even live streaming with Twitch.

Since GeForce Shadowplay doesn't work for me on PCars (double speed, no sound on playback) but works on Fallout 4 I thought I would give it a go and if anyone else wants to have a look at it.

It pops out from the left side when you mouse over it and this is the main app screen from the site showing some of the capture apps, I also have an Elite Dangerous app installed.
