They need to get the FFB sorted, I can't get anything like as good feel that you get from rfactor 2.
They are trying to get the physics right, if you are in the development team and by that. Mean have bought it and are getting the daily updates, you can see the forums, the good thing about this game is that the development programme is open to all, Ben Collins posts his feedback every couple of days and you an then read the devs feedback.
It does look stunning though, everything on high and at any time of day there is something to look at. The best bits are when the body work enviable flies off and you can see the engine and suspension moving.
They are on the verge of greatness, but It is still behind AC and Rf2 in the key areas, I struggle to think the PS4 version will get the bells and whistles that PC get, I have done a 30 car race at Le Mans and my system was struggling a tad.

Is it true that they have now taken out car customisation and decals?
There was no mention of these so I would assume (I know you never should) that they aren't available. AFAIK you can still tune the car with regards to suspension settings etc. but no mention of uprated exhausts etc. There is no car modding, Project Cars authentically simulates actual race cars and allows set up changes typical to that car. You cannot change the exhaust or ECU, although you can restrict the engines and open and close cooling intakes, but as mechanical damage is simulated that's risky.
Aston Martin officially announced today too

I'm really looking forward to this on the PS4. I hope it will look as good and play as well as the PC version most of you are referring to. I intend to pre-order it, once I find out the deal with extra cars, or other reasons for pre-ordering.
I'm still trying to find out whether my existing PS3 Logitech Driving Force GT steering wheel will work with PS4 / Project CARS, but it's beginning to look like it won't work, according to some reports on the Internet. Sony seem to be pushing towards their new "official" Thrustmaster T300 wheel, which costs a fortune. Anyone know any further information on this? Are any of the Slightly Mad development team reading this thread that can comment, please?
Cheers,
Steve

I've been really looking forward to this game until I found out that Logitech wheels won't be supported. It seems like they won't be supported in any of the games on the PS4.

I thought this might be the game to get me to buy a PS4. If I can't use my G25 then I'm out.
Seems very short sighted, one of the big advantages the PS3 had over the 360 was that you can use any wheel controller you wanted and it was also fine on the PC as it used standards. Imposing artificial limitations is a stty move sony.

They had this on demo at Trax on Sunday, have to say it's a good game, the Formula Fords were surprisingly trick to handle at first and slip streaming each other is awesome fun. BUT the handling is very floaty, never feels like the front wheels are actually touching the tarmac, and in a wet race I'd expect some oversteer... But there was none. Saying that I don't know what driving aids were turned on for the demo they were running.
