Yep, I did on Sunday and effing scary it was. My nephew was laughing at me tip-toeing around in the Capri trying to get the power down - he was calling me allsorts he was - the git. Thing that really got to me was the crazy noise of the capri, rain lashing down, puddles everywhere and corners catching you out. Mad.

The delay is due to them modeling the new Focus RS.

Can understand the frustration, but they are just perfecting now, daily updates have stopped and are only a hundred odd mb here and there, bug fixing is the order of the day I suspect as there are still a few little things.

But, it dos highlight what getting it right entails, just look at AC, version 1.1now and still missing lots features and AI and mp not functioning correctly, rfactor 2 is in Beta and looks to be like that for another year or so. Version 1 should be a complete game.

Also, I am jus basing this on the PCversion, god knows what is happening I the consoles where uncomplete games have been plentiful recently.

Its Gran Tourism all over again! This had better be outstanding when it finally arrives.
Took the plunge with a PS4 at the end of Jan thinking it'll only be eight weeks till PCars, I'll fill it with DriveClub and GTAV. lack of actual date, just a month, is worrying. Xmas 2015 release anyone?????

I was thinking something similar, after the drive club drama if this isn't perfect on release its going to be panned in the reviews.

Honestly, I'd rather get the option to have it unfinished on console and patch when they're out. This is the only game I've thought this about as I usually detest the release of unfinished games.

thinking this was always going to be a Summer release but put the date foward to get peoples hopes up and lots of media coverage as it gets closer. the delayed. More annoyance and more media coverage

Yes In the end we want a complete good game but these delays are bloody annoying.

To add I hope they are not daft enough to release this around the time of House of wolfs on Destiney. project cars was going to be the only game I would be stopping playing Destiney for. And if it's released at the same time I know what I would rather be playing personally

The trouble with them releasing it unfinished is the player base will suffer, people will soon get fed up start to hate/get frustrated with it and move on to something else.

I'd rather it came out as right as they can get it, than broken...look at BF4 on launch!

It'll be nice if we get some free DLC as per the Driveclub fiasco....will have to wait and see.

The problem with delaying it is the players' expectations are raised and if there are any issues, people will soon get fed up. I pre-ordered a while ago but haven't locked in a bargain by doing so, so I'm probably going to cancel and buy it after it's been released instead.
