I got this from gtplanet. I thought you may all want a read, it's made me more excited. http://en.pcars.shoutwiki.com/wiki/Physics
Awesome All that should hopefully make for some decent PH multiplayer racesmolineux1980 said:
Any wheel suggestions for Xbox One? My old ~Microsoft 360 wheel won't be be compatible I assume...
Don't look any further than the Thustmaster TX wheel. As it comes out of the box it's pretty damn good, although the 458 wheel is a bit cheapy and nasty. However:
Add the TH8A shifter, the T3PA pedals and the Ferrari GTE wheel and you have an incredible setup. If you wanted to go that one step further (or really hate Ferrari) you could go for the T3PA Pro pedals and the generic TM28 wheel instead, but honestly you won't need to. Utterly mind blowing setup, right up there with the Fanatec stuff (which I've tried on PS3), although it's nowhere near as low-priced as the original 360 wheel was.

I'm currently running that setup for F5 and FH2 and it makes a great game into a brilliant one, especially F5, but it was purchased with PCars very much in mind too. I've been using it for over a year now, and it's as rock-solid as ever.

To add all that other stuff means it goes from very expensive to ridiculous.
Dabs sell the Ferrari one for £220 which is where I got mine.

I didn't even give the 458 one a try tbh, I went straight for the Challenge wheel as I didn't like the look of the 458. I'm still glad I made the change, but you're right: The 458 one is perfectly acceptable.
I ran without the extra pedals and shifter until a couple of months back purely due to lack of availability, but they've really made a huge amount of difference to how the whole 'experience' feels. You absolutely could do without them, but honestly if you can then you really should.

Had a crack on Project Cars at the Gadget Show live yesterday (time trial around Silverstone with racing seat / pedals / wheel).. Very impressive even though I was rubbish.. I'll blame the flash wheel and (especially) pedals. Think I'll be preordering.
I had a go today, same thing but on snetterton. Fairly impressed but the set up they had was pretty poor! The pedals were shocking....Gassing Station | Video Games | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
