I put in a pre order in late march, knowing that the release date had moved at least twice, and wasn't fussed. Still aren't, IMO there aren't any Forza type driving games for the PS4 out yet.

Interesting list of supported wheels especially the Porsche Turbo S wheel. Which is discontinued.

I wonder how Sony managed to retrofit the security chip to that one!

I think they've lost a fair bit already, tbh. Still no exact release date? Still no confirmed list of cars on the website? Still no confirmed list of tracks on said website too? One month from release (allegedly), that's very poor show. I still want it to be awesome though smile

In other news, confirmed as 1080/60 on PS4 and 900/60 on Xbone now. I'm glad they managed to hit the 60fps target, that's the biggest difference in games these days.
There are some unofficial lists available which I will post below. The game is going gold very soon as hinted at by Andy Tudor today, release is looking to be May 7th at the moment. They don't seem to want to release track or car lists as they have developed a lot but are still clearing up some license agreements.

Check this video out, it now has the head\helmet shake like the real driver!

Last video I saw it didn't have this and therefore looked wrong.

Enjoy!

Can't wait until we can discuss the game in here rather than the release date. Confidence is high for May 2015 release. Without wanting to tease too much, In my opinion it's bloody awesome!

It feels pretty much there now, FFB wise I love it, much prefer it to AC now (less harsh and jerky), graphically it is stunning (love the upchange animation on the BAC video, looks really natural) and the sounds are very good as well.

Even the consoles are going to get 43 cars on track in any weather @60fps, at Le Mans at least.

I have to say that BAC Mono video has me sold, I was very critical because some elements of the game looked hilariously unrealistic in terms of physics - I dont care about the graphics as much as I do about the cars behaving like they actually do rather than the behavior being dumbed down for kids.

I read that the big grids are for single player mode, multiplayer will be same grid size as all other multiplayer console games?

Are you able to confirm that please?

Worth every penny to see some grass and barriers go by with motion blur smile

I'll stick to my PS4 for now I think.

Grid sizes are one of the few things confirmed in the FAQ: http://www.projectcarsgame.com/faq.html

How many opponents can you play against?

45 offline (depending on the grid size of the track) on all platforms
16 online on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and 32-bit PC
32 online on 64-bit PC
