For anyone playing the game already, 3 quick questions:

In practice sessions, do you drive from the pitlane rather than being placed on track?

Can you control your car in the pitlane?

When offline races finish, do you have a "cool down" lap?

Ta muchly smile

Ah that's a shame, was hoping for 2 out of 3. Thank you!

You used to be able to control your car in the pitlane in earlier builds, it got scrapped but I have seen rumours of it returning post release.

Also the reason behind making it AI in the pits is to get a PEGI 3 rating as you cant crash in to people but I think that might be rubbish.

Edit: It appears that it is to do with a PEGI rating and animations.

Checked Game's website this morning to see whether an ETA had been added to my pre order and noticed that now the limited edition is available to pre order again (for PS4 at least). Not sure whether people keep dropping out or whether Game keep securing more copies, hopefully all pre orders materialise!

I have my PS4 copy pre-ordered with Game, and my Game app claims 8th May as the release date, coinciding with the official release date.

Skid marks.

Does project cars have these?

Can you lay down some rubber like you can in Drive club?

Can't recall seeing a video with any in?

Had the e-mail from Amazon saying 8th May release...now just to buy a wheel for it, I second the question above about the T100 wheel insomuch is it any good?
Well I looked on line and found some videos of them running driveclub and other PS4 games so ordered this morning from ebay along with a £50 stand as well. Can't find the game cheaper than £39..
Wheel arrived yesterday, along with some other PS4 bits (neat usb hub for £4!) so set it up on The Crew for my son. Initially disappointed, the feedback and feel was dire, stiff and uncontrollable. But that was due to my ineptitude, found the settings for wheel and after adjusting each setting (oddly there are 2 adjustment pages that have the same settings but dont change together!) had a half hour go on it. Well worth a punt at under £80 for the lot, only negative is no PS button and for some functions its easier to use the controller.

If the thought of paying out £300 for a FF wheel scares you or youre not sure it will get used then grab one now as they are selling out!

It might have already been mentioned in this thread but i've just noticed on the project cars website that you get a free car each month as a thank you for supporting them.

Yeah, but kind of a little forzaee, holding back some cars we have seen already for dlc,
Hope they get licence from the big two at a later date.

For those folk who missed out on the limited edition for the extra cars... If you pre-order the digital edition from the the PSN or Xbox live store it includes both the limited edition car pack and the modified car pack.

It's also £44.99 so the same as the shops (or cheaper... My local branch of game are saying £49.99 for standard edition and £59.99 for the limited edition).

Yeah you don't get a disc to trade in later but to be fair it it's even half as good as it looks I can't see me getting shot of it.
