Don't suppose if anybody knows if a T300rs will go straight on a wheelstand pro?
The T300 GTE (which is the exactly the same but with Ferrari branding not PS) fits straight on a wheelstand pro, I replaced my G25 with a 300. I don't know about the pedals as I stuck with the G25 ones.

Reserved my copy from my local game store. I get the Atom, Zonda and RUF. But not the other cars. I'm ok with that as I know there will be future packs. Really looking forward to a decent racer on the PS4.

Just been looking at wheels (for xbox one) and there is a thrustmaster TX that's about £70 but doesn't have force feedback and just uses bungie for resistance, do you think this will be good enough for occasional racing games or is it not very good?

If that's all your budget stretches too, then it'll be better than nothing. Or better than a control pad, anyway! smile

Is the T100 not supported by Xbox then? Works on the PS4, its fine for a cheap FFB.

So, I have a PS4 now, and I have Project Cars Limited Edition pre ordered with Game for my Xbox One. I can't switch to the PS4 LE game. So, do I pre order the PS4 digital bundle with the LE extra and the other extra, letting the Game pre order pass, or keep with the Xbox disc copy?

Will PS4 and Xbox games be identical? Ive been reading a bit of probably fanboy stuff that the Xbox 1080p resolution games are upscaled 900p etc.

probably best to check youtube videos to see if theres any difference betweens the XBO and PS4 versions but i would think it would be minimal if any at all

I've pre-ordered the PS4 Limited Edition from Game. Does this mean I should get the "Modified Car Pack" alongside the "Limited Edition Car Pack"?

Looking on the official web site, it states the following:

Pre-order today from these local and online retailers to secure the Modified Car Pack...

With an Amazon logo and a Zavvi logo on the web page.

This would seem to imply that in the UK, it's only pre-orders through Amazon and Zavvi that qualify? If that is the case, I find it rather unfair, as I pre-ordered around a year ago, before any of this information was available.

Cheers,
Steve

I have purchased a T300RS and it fits on my Wheelstand Pro perfectly. I needed to use the red metal strip to secure the pedals, as per pic below, as my Wheelstand Pro has no fixings for pedals as I originally purchased the stand for Logitech Driving Force GT:

A slightly long way around getting Project Cars Limited edition on Xbox one with the modified car pack that I've just completed.

Firstly, like CDKeys on facebook for a 5% off code. Then head to CDkeys to purchase a £50 xbox gift card for £43.99, at the checkout apply the 5% off voucher code to make it £41.79.
Enter the code received via email on to the Xbox strore and magic happens, £50 is credited to your account and then you can pre order Project Cars and install the game and 2 extra packs for £49.99. All downloaded and ready to play at 12.01am on the 8th May thumbup Can't wait now!

Well worth the 5 minutes of work to save waiting in for the postie or driving to a shop, probably works out cheaper too. biggrin

Any experience with the Thrustmaster T100. My Logitech gear has been sold and I cannot bring myself to spend £250 on a T300RS.

I was perfectly happy with the Logitech DFGT, the T100 seems to be a similar price level - Id hope they are similar products?? Any advice?

The limited time Ive spent using it on The Crew (before the bd game hangs) has been OK.
The adjustments are fairly crude but it definitely makes it more fun. I would expect PCars to be better in adjustability, though its certainly acceptable as a budget FFB on The Crew. Only downside is you need a controller next to you for some functions (though not during gameplay).

I too find it hard to justify £300+ on a wheel that, like the majority of games in our house, is used sporadically and at my level of gaming somewhat overkill.

Spot on, after a couple weeks I'll probs dig the game out once a week and won't be bothered to get the wheel out. I might just get the T100 for now, I can always sell it.

Do you use yours with a wheelstand?

Good god! I'm used to a logitech g25/27 on the ps3, that T300RS looks like a peripheral for a c64. The frigging price on amazon is £248.83, they've added a 2 on there by mistake surely.

The wheel is actually very solid and well made (heavy too) and the feedback is vastly superior to my old G25 whilst being quieter in operation.
The pedals not so good but I don't use them so that was irrelevant to me.
