Good god! I'm used to a logitech g25/27 on the ps3, that T300RS looks like a peripheral for a c64. The frigging price on amazon is £248.83, they've added a 2 on there by mistake surely.

You do realise that isnt the T300RS in the picture but an example of the stand he is using...

The wheel pictured there is a logitech driving force gt, that's the wheel I used to have until I got a thrustmaster t300rs and the difference in massive between them. Never used a g27 however.

I bought the cheapest stand on eBay, £46 delivered. Its for a Logitec wheel so needed a few holes drilling to bolt the pedals down. I did the same for the wheel as the clamp is rather large. While I was at it, I drilled the tube and his the wires in it, waste of time but looks a bit neater!

Damn I was wrong there then lol. But not wrong about the damn thing being a step down from a g27. My problem is I spent so much time on my g27 playing GT5 and shift, technology is supposed to get better not worse due to money hungry idiots.

So basically the playstation idiots are allowing us:

Expensive fannatec forza branded wheel, not available yet but why would I pay more for xbox branding.
Expensive fannatec porsche branded wheel, not available yet but would I pay more for porsche branding (there are no exclusive porsche driving games).
Thrust master sony branded wheel with 2 pedals; also a ferrari one lol.

So the solution is to play with a pad and wait for logitech to release a unbranded g27 that works with the ps4 (or there is probably some sort of crazy licensing thing that makes it uneconomical, knowing my luck).

Indeed, I didn't intend to cause any confusion, the photo is merely intended to demonstrate the attachment for the pedals that I have had to adopt on my Wheelstand Pro for the T300RS pedals, I did mention in the text that the photo references the Driving Force GT. There are no photo's of the Thrustmaster T300RS on a Wheelstand Pro that I'm aware of and I was too lazy to take a photo myself.

The T300RS is a bit beefier than the DFGT in the Wheelstand Pro photo.

I'm not sure any steering wheel would look substantial when viewed perched on the end of a metal pole, as in the Wheelstand Pro photo..

Hopefully Kazunori will not allow this stupid inferior crap if gt7 comes out, no way will he support that stupid thrust master wheel.

I'm not sure you have fully acknowledged that the Wheelstand Pro photo was not a T300RS wheel, it was a 10 year old Logitech wheel in the photo! The T300RS does not look remotely like that wheel. I'll be having a law suit filed against me from Thrustmaster for lost sales if this keeps up!

Also, I think I'm right in saying that Logitech have pulled out of the console market completely, so I don't hold out much hope for a PS4 compatible wheel from Logitech to be released. Of course, it is "some sort of crazy licencing scheme" that is preventing the Logitech wheels from working with the PS4 in the first place..

Going full Circle and starting to doubt my purchase of the T100 - I didnt realise that the lock was so poor. Therefore I am looking to order a T300 too, then I can try them both and flog one off.

However I am finding some good deals on the T300GTE, where the T300RS is actually quite a bit harder to get hold of at the moment. It looks like the actual hardware is identical apart from the specific PS4 buttons on the RS are replaced by more generic racing buttons on the GTE.

Anybody any experience of the GTE?

I have both the gte rim and t300 rs rim. I prefer the ps4 one but both have identical functions, there is even instructions to show what buttons are mapped to each ps4 button

Finally got sorted with Fanatic

I got the CSL seat which is surprisingly good for a budget setup.

I order the GT wheel with Xbox One hub & also the V2 pedals. This is not due until August!

Hopefully this will qualify me for an invitation for the V2 base or I am in for an even longer wait!

Got pissed off with researching these wheels so bit the bullet and ordered a T300RS.

Also been a bought a bean bag, as the Mrs has ruled out using a proper seat in the new house - as it doesnt fit with our modern deco (Shes pregnant so I dont dare argue). So hopefully I can get myself and my wheelstand in a half decent position - anybody else used a beanbag, I got a cheap one off eBay for now

I bought the T300RS off these guys at 3pm for £242. Found them on eBay and bought direct. They had the T300GTE for £239.99, but they have sold out this afternoon.

Box.co.uk have the T300GTE at £229.99, but they only have 2 left. Their site said 20+ this morning.


If you are thinking of getting a wheel I wouldnt hang around, I have been keeping an eye on them for a week or two now and they certainly seem to be going out of stock and up in price....

Just spoken to my local Game to see if they have a display running it, they are rather embarrassed, they have the discs but have managed to lose the key to the cabinet for the demo console so can't get in there to put the ProCars disc in...............MUPPETS!!!!!
