Dirt cheap on the Steam sale at the moment, if you're (VERY) quick the expansion is £1.99...

Had this a while now and kids went to log in to play it after an absence for a while.

Anyone had the can't connect to steam server problem? Quite common from the looks of Google search but very complicated to fix, anyone done it simply?

Thanks
Paul

In case anyone else gets this problem I managed to solve it by logging in at steampowered.com and confirming my IP, account and email then updating the software.

Some people were moaning earlier in the thread that they could only run on low graphics, I can beat that. My laptop wont even open it, let alone play it frown

I need to build a computer for this and Iracing, but know nothing about it. Time to learn!

It's all about the money, really.

These people do some nice stuff, the Vanquish 230X at £999 seems like a good deal

I am going to learn to build one. I just buy it bit by bit and hope its not hideously outdated by the time I have everything. Too much money to throw all at once, I have 'real' cars to fix biggrin

There's a number of videos on YouTube showing how to build gaming computers, but it boils down to money again, and the scope for saving any money by building it yourself is very small, 5% maybe, in some cases you could even lose money doing it that way.

I would agree with this also not sure about the wisdom of buying it a bit at a time.

Personally would save up and then buy something with the latest suitable spec.

My current laptop was bought on the strength of a cracking review online and in a magazine. So bought one. What actually arrived was the upgraded one that was advertised in the next issue of the magazine that hadn't been published when I placed the order. Upgrade for same price.

Pace of change is still mind boggling at times.

I've just bought a copy of this, well actually two copies thanks to Mr Jack Daniel.

Can you give away steam codes?

If so does anyone want a copy?

Excellent. Although I no longer play online much that is a much needed extension to the game

I purchased this through my steam account on my phone whilst sitting in the pub earlier. I installed it just now and crashed as I left London on route to Cambridge. I called the recovery service and set on my way again then side swiped a Mini whilst navigating a tight corner. Decided that virtual drink driving is not a good idea. whistle Off to bed.

Playing ETS2 whilst drunk is a good advert for not drink driving tongue out I wish there was an instant replay function built in so I could share some of the more spectacular crashes. I also played after lots of wine the other day, ended up falling asleep and driving off the raised edge of a sliproad, getting huge air, and landing on my side having only just cleared the central reservation. The people of Katowice didn't get their shipment of frozen peas that day frown

Last weekend I bought a new camera. Got it home and realised my already dying PC was incapable of running the software.

Perfect excuse to upgrade to something that is more than capable of running ETS2 as well smile

Am currently trucking round Germany.

Does anyone know how to transfer my saved copy of the game from an old laptop to a new one?
