When the game starts and you get to the profile screen. it gives you the options of New, Continue, Edit and Delete. Click Edit and on the right you'll see a list of your mods in the Mod folder. Tick the ones you want to use and then click apply.
Yeah that's what I thought.. nothing in the list. Will retry!
You've put the mods in the wrong folder then, most probably.

They should be in your \My Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod\ directory, and should be just the .scs files, nothing else.

Euro6 vehicles are dearer because achieving that standard was difficult.

If loading from the CD, update to 1.31 before you start, else it resets your game!
Not sure if it will be the same, but I'd downloaded the demo, played a bit. Bought the game and installed, played a bit. Then updated. It reverted me to the demo I'd played thus far. So I went in to the folder in my docs and looked for the version of profile(s) with the save game of the demo (i.e. earliest game) and removed that and it reverted to the full game saves. Might be something in that you can look at to avoid restarting...

Played the demo for 4 hours now just ordered a full copy.

How did everyone else start off?

Taking loans out early? Driver for hire until a truck is affordable?

I'm only upto £20,000 ish so far. Just wondering what the Pro's of taking the 100k loan and buying a £90k truck would be.

Don't fart around with 100k go for the 400k, buy bigger garage, two trucks, hire 2 drivers and drive other peoples kit yourself for a while, currently have 2 drivers on my books, 1 averages £1950 p/day the other £1500 p/day, I'm raking in over £20k a day myself easily covers the £5k p/d repayments.

Whats the suggested resolution? My choices are 1024x768x15" or 1920x1080x50" - one is too small and the other is just silly.

Hmmm, got a slight problem. I downloaded the game through steam yesterday. It ran no with no problems. Tonight I updated to the latest version directly from the Euro Truck website, but now it's wanting the product code when I load the game. I don't have this, never got one when I purchased the game....

Any ideas?
Uninstall/Delete it, reinstall it from Steam and let Steam update it. It should update to 1.3.1 before you start.
Right, sorted the problem by finding a setting in steam to fix files. It kept my save game intact too.

I spent last night mapping my Logitech G50 and sorting out the sensitivity of it.

It's the only game I've played where the full amount of steering offered by the wheel is useful!

Although now it's a case of using the clutch and changing gears with the H shifter ALL the time around town!

With your staff drivers, can you pick their jobs? Only mine are doing return unpaid trips back to Felixstowe every time.

Nope, they just get a load back from the drop off point, one of mine is very good and did 6 Grimsby to Brussels and back again at £1400-2300 each way each time
