Bought this on some steam sale yonks ago, just started playing it, (too busy driving the real things), and having a right laugh playing it with an old wheel I have.

I like it. spin

I spend 60 hours a week driving big things, yet I'm still addicted. And I've got MrsSE hooked too...

My main gripe with the game so far is the scenery pop-up. mad I'm running a GTX 980, which of course, doesn't break into a sweat with this game, so it must be limitations with the game engine itself.

Gripes aside, I'm doing a lot of night-trunks, (as in real-life), so I can keep-it-lit and there's less dozy cars-drivers around. I did one day-job and spent 47 minutes of in-game time trying to turn right at a T-junction. nuts

Just to let anyone know who's planning on buying the game, it's on sale in steam for £2.24 only until the 20th before 6PM. smile

Might get it myself...

I recommend it if your PC play it. (A decent spec laptop is good enough) it's very easy to dip in and out of. I go months at a time of not playing it, then log on and do several missions at once.

I usually find, as I did last night, after not firing it up for ages, is that you last saved it mid-job, are parked in some service area middle of wherever, and a new version has been released. If you update it drops you back in your garage which doesn't marry with ocd. So you complete the job, update, start another one, come back after a few weeks, update time ahsin. Grrrr.

This has now come out on the Mac! Only Beta but appears to be working great so far.

I did some jobs, bought a truck and have since upgraded to a 3 vehicle garage. However, I can't seem to hire somebody to take over my truck. Is this possible? I want to go back to doing jobs for other people and let the hired help run mine. I can buy a second truck and hire somebody for that, just can't remove myself from my Volvo.

Did you have to bump this! biggrin I haven't played since TSM broke with the official map changes a while ago, now back up and running (or is it trucking) after updating and getting TSM 5.4, and eventually finding which old mod was breaking the jobs. My save and Scania T are still intact thankfully smile

You should be able to relocate any trucks on the truck manager screen, as long as there's a garage slot with driver and no truck assigned to them.

It's on the Steam Sale, something like £12 for ETS2 with all the expansions, ETS1, Bus Driver Sim, and some other misc stuff.

Addicted. Got a 3 truck fleet from Brum and as soon as I can get the debts under control I'm going to get into the Continental base lark.
