Just recently upgraded to TH8 and im glad i upgraded everything! to full first so i had a fresh start at TH8

tbh if somebody hits my base they take 200k gold/elixir but give me a 12/16 hour shield, then I just go and make that in 10 minutes raiding.
Anytips how to improve?

If you want a big shield and keep your loot. Put your TH in the corner so it's an easy one star. Then they take that and run. That's how I've almost afforded xbow level 3. (7mil gold)

I've always looked at bases as, if the town hall is outside the walls then i'll hit the town hall, that'll give me 1 star so I can't lose, so then I can attack the base and try and take as much gold elixir and gold as possible.
If the town hall is in the middle and the base looks a decent one with good defence then i'll leave it alone and try the next base.

Obviously if the person attacking me has level 3 dragons, TH 8 or 9 then they'll 2 or 3 star me anyway, or should do.

There should be a text box you can edit when you apply.

Love the game, have the TH at 10, but need to level up the walls.

Top Tip, if you need res, stay in gold 1 or 2, crystal is crap for res

Pistonheads- The war clan, we war twice a week, monday nights and Thursday nights. (Gruffy)

Pharming- Just farming, no war. (Windybob)

Pharmingtwo- More farming as it's very popular (Markoc)
