Clash of Clans??

No, no. To be clear and has been said, you need to max everything before upgrading town hall because you don't yet know what you'll like to use and also the stuff you don't upgrade now will be neglected later too because there are more exciting things to do.
Just that I find Giants to be the most effective way to attack up to level 8 or so.

I currently have
Level 5 barberians , Level 5 archers
Level 5 giants (currently upgrading to 6)
Level 5 goblins , Level 5 wallbreakers , Level 5 baloons
Level 5 Wizards , Level 3 healers
Level 3 dragons , Level 2 PEKKA
Try to always have a troop levelling up. Priority being what you use most, so I've always upgraded archers or giants first whenever my research centre has upgraded.

Big whoop for the Halloween special. Boost your spell factory for just 1 gem - staggering generosity!
Plus a bump to anyone new to the game or didn't know there were PH clans.
Pistonheads - warring clan
Pharming & Pharmingtwo . You can play as you like (just called farming rather than non-warring), but worth being in a clan to have troops donated to use your clan castle as extra defence/offence. All the clans have top level troops and plenty of active folk.

I'm guessing the war is over now, but I'd highly recommend getting lvl4 hogs as your next upgrade - it makes pretty much any TH8 a trivial 3*. Mass drags was made a little less reliable when the air sweeper was released.Phateuk said:

why whats in the proposed update?
Im not telling you James, you keep shooting me on BF4.... I've not played for about a year! Only bought it a week or so ago and its taking a little getting back into.http://clashofclans.wikia.com/wiki/Sneak_Peeks
Really big push to try and get people raiding more by the looks of it but, tbh, raiding bores me and it's the long wait between deciding to raid and all the troops being ready to. That and unless you're successful it costs a lot. If you are successful you go up in league and get attacked by more powerful raiding parties which then makes saving up for anything an absolute nightmare. I was raided several times trying to save for the last TH upgrade, often to the tune of 400k gold. I get that there are gems and shields for this kind of thing but I'm getting very tired of this game and it's mechanics.
