Enjoyed last nights combo, must get myself a test drive in a TVR S.

Evo, if you want to pick next weeks combo as it's the last round of this seasons championship.

Been thinking about possible changes to regulations for next season. Here's a suggestion:

We could chop one of the races into two, so instead of running a 60 mile race, it becomes 2 30-milers. 2 tyre compounds remain, but one must be used in one race and the other compound in the other, so no pitstops mid race. The points are dished out for your finishing positions in race 2, with no points for race 1. It would basically work like a safety car at the halfway point, bunching everyone back up together. It might cause chaos, but it would certainly be closer. The overall race distance to gain points remains the same though, so it shouldn't be too extreme. The grid for the second race would be based on previous race results.

It would likely turn out that everyone would qualify and do the first half on the slower tyre, then swap to the faster tyre for the second half.

If the soft tyre wore out too quickly then the harder tyre may come good, or at High Speed Ring where the slipstream will compensate for lack of grip... possibly.

Gentlemen,

You are invited to attend the Gran Premio d'Italia, where you will regularly enjoy 500 rampaging Italian horses at 9000rpm for 17 laps around Italy's own high-speed home of motorsport.

Track: Autodromo Nazionale Monza (chicanes, dry, normal fuel/tyre wear).
You are reminded to obey the track limits, especially when exiting Variante Ascari (i.e. two tyres must be inside the white line on the exit of the last left-hander before Parabolica)

Car: Ferrari F430 (stock: oil change/engine rebuild, Sports Hard/Sports Medium tyres).
Dress code is casual - please bring suitable footwear.

I'm guessing this is aimed at Old G and his high heels? hehe

Nice combo Evo, been a while since Monza. Looking forward to this one!

Sounds good Coop, depending on the date and time I might be able to participate. I dread to think of the connections though!
