Why me? hehe

I have no idea whats been going on. Lets just say I won the championship and GW was disqualified for gayness.

How's the leg big man?

Flip has expertly suggested that I pick the Toms Toyota Chaser for my combo in the next championship, it's a standard car so can everyone try and get hold of one smile

If I recall, that car very rarely graces the UCD, so good luck if you don't have one (I think I do...) On that note - please, no irreversible mods on it (e.g. engine tuning, lightweight) I like to enjoy my cars as the factory PD intended.

I was surprised at how ballast-sensitive the Monza/F430 combo was, I could run low 1.58s all day with no ballast (and set a pole of 1.57.7xx, really pleased with that), but could only manage 2.00.3xx with +160kg. That made my race 1 victory a little hollow, but nice to finally stand on the top step. Race 2 I made a few mistakes and fell back, but it was good watching Norbury & goodwood going door-handle to door-handle lap after lap, and I really enjoyed the gradual shift rearwards in the balance of the car as the tyres wore down.

I dare say I can send a few out if needed. In fact I might just send them to the usual suspects anyway.

Weight was a killer wasn't it! Before I had the ballast, I could run mid 57's, the ballast must have cost me about a second per lap as I couldn't get near that in quali. Once I was locked in combat with GW, we were running around in well over 2 minutes per lap, it was very funny! Over the two races, me and GW spent 55 minutes duelling like crazy, it was top stuff.

There won't be any irreversible mods on the Chaser, don't worry smile

What's the event at Silverstone? Considering it's at the weekend there's very little info on the official site. I'm assuming it's a public event but there's no info.
