There's some kind of update due with a Dubai track - refers to "get this from the App store" so maybe money is involved.

Two things driving me nuts on this at the moment.
- 1. PR points meaning I can't race in the races I want with thE car I want, means effectively I can't finish some series.
- 2. Locked series. I have enough cash to buy the AMG Merc that's on sale. Only I can't buy it because the series is locked, and I can only open it by buyIng another car. But it'll then take me several days to save up again for the AMG by which time it won't be on sale again. In fact it'll probably be the Bentley I just bought.
Bringing this back to the top as I've just updated to the latest version ...... and I'm not sure I like it
Especially the fact that it costs me coins to actually race each time, which was not the case before, graphical it looks very bright too, which does not look right at all.
Race wise it still works ok and there are new tracks and cars, but it seems its leading towards actually needing to spend proper money at some point to keep things ticking over so I can carry on racing cars whilst some are being repaired, the forum for rr3 seem to back this up and lots seem pretty frustrated by the latest update.

How does it cost you coin to race?
And where are the new tracks?
I've actually got a decent money spinning run going on now, switched from racing Endurance to Cup as I hadn't realised they earned more. There's an everyday heroes race at Spa with a 911 that earns 14k, race that every morning with the 100% bonus for a few quid. Got 140 odd Gold coin saved now that I was going to spend the SLS GT3 but I might now save for the Cobra.
Every time it updates it gets harder to race for free, definitely. Really hard to get through a series without buying every car. Plus the 'performance rating' criteria on the cup races means you can't even enter unless you spend an utter fortune on upgrades.
Not to mention the fact the most cars will do 2-3 races then need a two hour service. Ooh guess what, you can pay helmets to rush the services.
I've hit a complete brick wall on the new muscle car series for this very reason.

There's a drive box at the top of the screen that reduces by 1 every time you race, to keep that topped up takes coinsHow does it cost you coin to race ?
New tracks are the Dubai versions that I'd not had before.
The Drive Boxes only reduce for time trials, not exactly a big issue and they refill very quickly too if you're that fussed about doing lots of trials

I actually liked that update as it earned me lots of extra coins, lots of series that I'd done to 100% suddenly dropped to 90% with the addition of time trials. I got to earn the 100% gold coins all over again.
Yea I found that ....which was nice. Till I used them for no good reason.
I've been playing this on my iPad since it came out. Still in two minds about the game. The actual driving gameplay is excellent for a mobile game; certainly better than GT Mobile (even without the six year wait, which I still can't forgive).
The rest of the gameplay is intensely annoying, and I'm determined not to pay EA a single penny, so realistically you can only play in 1-2 hour stretches before all your cars are down for repairs and whatnot. And as other posters have said, the recent updates have made this even worse.
