Must be doing well, as I see Candy Crush is now being advertised on TV.
They must be raking it in. Soon as some people get frustrated with a level they'll be blowing 63p to get through it. Doesn't take long for that to add up. It does seem to be a well designed machine to take money from the impatient.Edit: oh and i'm buggered if I can get past level 33. I generally only manage to clear 2 of the 4 "areas" before running out of moves. It'd cost me about £5 to get through buying moves I think!

Not sure how many play it, but must be in the tens, if not hundreds, of millions. Small micro-payments that no one really cares about and even if a small percentage of users pay it's a license to print money. Development costs must not be high, it's only a variation on the loads of other games out there that you have to get rows lined up etc. (e.g Bedazzled)ETA : 10 million active daily players
