Anyone gone sub 7 minutes an a standard P1 or LaFerrari?
6:51 in the LaFrrrari and 6:56 in the P1. Both dirty laps but once I get used to the track a clean faster lap will be easy.
Nurburgring has finally made me come back to the game. Looks stunning and is loads of fun.
Christ. Ive put off on the xbox one as nothing really jumped out at me but have since seen loads of stuff to get me excited and now want one.
This is what Ineed want at the moment. Some isnt out yet but lets say by the end of the year;
Xbox bundle with titanfall (best value deal).
Forza 5
Racing wheel
GTA5
Halo 5
Halo old skool collection
Forza horizon 2
far cry 4.
Its about £950
Ouch.

I noticed the elevation in some parts a lot more than before in FM4
Same applies to Laguna Seca.
I would love to see Turn 10 recreate Maple Valley Raceway in FM5.
Don't know if it's just a viewing/camera angle effect, but all parts of the track look narrower & the inclines don't 'feel' as steep as when I'm driving it for real.
Even in something like the Fiat 500 it looks like there's barely enough room for 2 cars to go side by side, when I know I've been three abreast in those same places.

On the old forza model, it was substantially wider by all accounts. I think the most obvious point on the old game was going down Fuchsrohre. When I drove the track in real life for the first time I was under the impression that there was plenty of room for the line to be straight through all of the corners, but it was so much narrower than the Forza version that there was quite a lot of turning involved. I guess it's a bit of a question whether we want an accurate track or one that's good for racing.

AFAIK you buy the DLC packs with real money(either individually,by car pack, or with a season pass that gives you ALL packs) and then in game you buy the cars with game credits you earn by racing.
(I dont have FM5 but this is how it was in 4 & Im sure it hasnt changed)
It started out like that, but after complaints from users you get a one-off ability to buy the DLC cars for 0 credits/tokens.(I dont have FM5 but this is how it was in 4 & Im sure it hasnt changed)
Forza 5 servers just went down and took multiplayer and Rivals with it. I'd just done 9:58 in the 'ring Transit spec challenge 'I could do that in a van'. My time had better be saved!!
Servers back. Time not saved...
