Managed a 9:43 from a standing start and now have my achievement!

First lap, 9:56. And I got greedy on one of the exits and ran off the track, so not clean.

Did an 8:36 in an E30 M3 D class Rivals when the server was down, now seem completely incapable of doing a clean lap let alone beating that time so it's actually posted!

What wheels are recommended? Any with a available with a clutch yet?

Struggling to get a clean, quick lap of the 'ring. Either potter so I don't fall off or make one mistake to ruin the whole lap . I can see the point of the 'dirty lap' marker but it does seem a little eager to appear

I'm absolutely horrendous at forza, any tips?

I'm missing a lot of my braking points as I can't see them coming, how do I get better cars aswell currently having to use a rental nsx-r online

Get a few races offline under your belt and earn some cash to buy cars

There was an assist on FM4 that showed you the 'optimum' line along with the braking zones, I believe it is on FM5 too. Switch it on until you get into the feel of it

Just bought the van and did a 10.03 with it in standard trim.
Bolted on a few parts and wound a bit of camber on ( I don't really know how to set up cars lol) and improved a bit to 9.37 with a few mistakes in there. Leaves me at 137 in world rank. Wanna have a go with a well tuned one, anyone got a recommendation?

God only knows how that guy has done a 9.12

Well I took the plunge and bought an Xbox One yesterday. I've got Forza and Dead Rising. The price I paid for Forza means I can justify getting all the car packs this time around. I never bothered with any on Forza 4. I've done a couple of races so far and started out in a BRZ really liking it so far.

If there is an August pack, it will be out on the first Tuesday of the month, so next week. We might get news tomorrow or over the weekend. The FM forums have spotted this, so there's probably an Infiniti pack on the way for free. http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/turn10_postst162...
