Out of interest does anyone know if Le Mans will feature in Grid 2?
Not according to the IGN wiki that listshere- http://uk.ign.com/wikis/grid-2/Locations )USA
California Coast
Chicago
Miami
Indianapolis
Europe
Barcelona
Red Bull Ring
Paris
Cote D'Azur
Brands Hatch
Algarve
Asia
Coming Soon..
But it doesnt mention the Ariel Atom in the cars section(only lists 17) so I suspect its not complete
Another site mentions it changes city routes on the fly so tracks always change
I would love to see weather as IMO that's the most lacking thing.
Although a better damage model and AI that doesn't lack the "I" would be handy.
However I think this chap got it about right :/

But lets face it, its just going to be Forza with the polish turned up to 11.
Sadly it will probably be same cars, same tracks, same damage ..... oh with some stupid "social" element added like being able to upload pictures to face book or tweet your latest lap times - something gimmicky like that. (bit like the rubbish Top Gear challenges / Clarkson car reviews)

A weather engine - proper changeable, varied weather
Night racing
Better vehicle damage - which combined with environmental damage means you could lose a car over a cliff and not recover it. Brutal, but makes for a better risk:reward aspect.
More environmental damage - ability to bend armco, tear up grass, destroy road furniture etc.
Less of the Horizon-esque social club nonsense.
I'd like to see more tracks too, particularly street tracks / open road stuff and hill climb / sprint type courses but I certainly wouldn't be complaining if they picked up some better, real tracks.
I don't think the physics need massively updating, just a few tweaks here and there. The AI is garbage on F4 though, I hope they address that.
Pretty much summed up my thoughts too.Night racing

One minor gripe I have is that with some R class cars you have to buy racing brakes just to change the balance, when you can see the controls from the in car view! So standard car setup adjustability needs looking at. Also beiong able to change car settings in race like TC and balance would be good too! There is enough buttons on the controller for it.
I'd be happy with some more difficult AI. I find myself in a standard car Vs them in a tuned car and I still manage to lap them every race. Oh, and night and weather would be nice.
ETA: Matte and chrome paints and the ability to change the colour of standard wheels.

Have you got it set on mega easy? I'm generally pretty near or at the top in the rivals things so not slow and I rarely lap people unless doing a multi class race.
On certain tracks and classes can have some pretty close racing if I don't chose an OTT car.
I have it set too hardest level and no driver assists though.

Switchable exhaust note.
Yes, I really want this in. No point tuning a 1000bhp Supra and then it sounds barely different to the standard thing.I'd like to see
- More sprint / Hillclimb courses
- Weather
- Day / Night
- Some tracks with actual elevation changes, instead of the billiard-table flat stuff we usually get
- Single seaters / open wheel cars and a Caterhams - I think the reason they kept getting left off was something to do with accurately modelling the suspension working wasn't it?
- Less of the Dubstep crowd ste we got in Horizon. I'm surprised Horizon didn't include an option to hang flower garland from your rearview.
After watching this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INNS-zhmFZI I think Forza 5 is going to have to be seriously good, think they really need to look at what made all the previous versions good and bring them together

Coming from a PS fan boy, I would take any early Sony videos with a pinch of salt. http://stickskills.com/2013/05/21/microsoft-announ...
Microsoft has unveiled the Xbox One and provided the very first details on the system. One of the very first titles confirmed for the system is Forza 5, being developed by Turn-10 studios.
The footage shown for the game displayed a thrilling race between two cars as they went barreling towards the finish line. A slow motion sequence was shot where the audience was able to view such detail as water dripping off of the tires and smoke emerging from beneath the wheels as they slid across the pavement.
