^^^ This. Destiny is probably the first game that has made me think the PS4 purchase has been worth it. Not sure what will keep me this interested till September now.

Interesting to see that Bungie have not used matchmaking for the raid mode, saying it will be impossible to complete them with less than 6 players. This is great news for employed adults, who will now suffer not only the difficulty of the actual raid missions themselves, but the logistical nightmare of getting 5 other friends list players, of similar level, online at the same time to play the raids.

Genius Bungie, you bunch of fking dolts. Epic didn't do matchmaking for Horde on Gears of War, how'd that turn out?

Basically making it like a proper MMO, the raids have weekly lockouts as well.

It is a pain in the ass in a way, but if it is as hard as they say it is you wouldn't really want to just join matchmaking with a bunch of randoms and die for 2 hours.

Tbh, I think this is the only way that most people will have a chance to play these raid missions, through rustling up help on forums - even then, it's hardly like you're playing with your old buds who you have 100% confidence in, but it's the only hope we've got. Sometimes, I think the devs get a little over-ambitious about what they think our friends lists and lives are like.

Just pre-ordered this having never played the beta or read anything about it. What can I expect? Iv played all the halos and loved them but not found an addictive multi-player for some time. Will this fill the void?

Got the semi fancy version coming for xbox 1, though as the GF thinks a week in Barcelona will be more fun that an RPG, we are going there.

Just gone to buy this from the HK store but read last time people did this their xbox live accounts were banned. This was due to fraudulant information entered as you need to enter a HK postcode and phone number. Anyone know if this is the case
