It was a result of todays anti cheese hotfix. Just bloody sick of it.

The gap between all day gamers/cheesers and us normal folks is so big now that who truley gives a feck about cheesing any more. I'll never catch up so just fecking leave them to it and let me play.

It's not a hoax. And neither is the incredibly simple way to boost damage, XP or credits to multiple thousands of percents. The game is completely broken

why was the fix for the FL incursion cheese so hard to implement - they have now made the APC immune to anything but C4, which is what you have to apply to the APC in the actual incursion. Simple solution, but why did they take so long?????

Incompetence? Dunno really, who really knows what happens behind the scenes. I'm not going to fall into the "Massive is st, sort it all out now" camp that is so very prevalent on Reddit as I've given up on that as a source of useful information but equally I wont be playing the game again for the forseeable future.

Sure I ran the mobile cover glitch 3 times against Police Academy and got nowt useful, so I'm not a holier than thou player and wont bh about those that do exploit as I suspect it's down to the end game being garbage and tedious. I'm really not arsed about gear sets since I won't be hanging around any longer

I'm bored of it and it's a shame, had a lot of potential

Where is your proof?

As far as I know, it is a complete troll and, everyone on reddit/the interweb jumped on the bandwagon and completely fell for it - quite amusing to read actually. Last time I checked that thread, there were over 600 replies and not a single shred of evidence.

Damage exploit has been patched already.

I'm keeping an eye on it as I still enjoy playing the game. I run the daily hard missions with just a pistol now which makes it vaguely challenging again thumbup

Because console patches have to be sent to MS and Sony for certification before being rolled out

While this is true, the fixes which they implemented for this were server side and so no patch was needed.

They could have avoided this whole situation if they had made the damage caused to APC scripted or by making a new unique damage type only caused by the c4. Instead they took the easy road by using an existing object from the game files and giving it a sh*t-tonne of health thinking people wouldn't spot that and exploit it.

It's just more lazy programming on their part.

there was a 30 minute update yesterday, which fixed the APC glitch and the competent double weapon, extra DPS glitch.

Yeah you're right, for some reason "Tom Clancy's The Division Update 1.03" is showing as a new notification on my PS4, it was installed on the 12th!

For anyone still interested and if you missed out on the DZ03 BPs, The Special Weapons vendor in BoO is selling a 204 AUG and a 204 SOCOM M1A. The AUG has decent talents (Brutal & Vicious) but, each weapon is over 800 PCs so will probably require some grinding.

M1a talents look cr@p

I think I might be running a few CM missions this weekend...

Surely the answer to all this cheesing is to Make DZ brackets. When gear score came out I was under the 160 bracket which made the DZ fun and even. Once I proceeded into the 161 above bracket I was always being hunted by rogues over 200 deliberatly looking for agents. This made them able to get even more DZ rank quicky.

It just spoils the DZ and kind of makes it unplayable. Just add a patch for more brackets. 160-180, 181-200, 201-220 then 220 plus for all the exploiters. This will make it more even and make grinding in the DZ more even and fair.

I had a go at the Incursion and only made it to wave 4. Its seriously hard to the point that I am going to have to constantly grind to get PC and DZ funds to level up.

Yes spotted that this am too. The AUG looks good but I'm nowhere near 800 PC - even if you include the bonus 150 they gave you today for 'recent game problems'.
The M1A is practically no better than my 163 M1A - well 5% better DMG and headshot is only 2% higher. Now using a Navy instead of Vector as I prefer the larger mag. - you can now take down 2 NPC's instead of having to reload halfway through the second.
I'm still going for fire rate over DPS as DPS makes no sense to me anymore and then numbers are all over the place.
Anyone crafted a rate of fire mag - does it come from the gold extended mag RNG? Only seen it on my purple 30 mags

ok good to know - will roll a few more extended mags to see what comes up. What's the RoF? My purple is +24% I think.
+RoF on the M1A doesnt make much sense, so I use a +weapon damage mag, but on a sub its the one to go for.

Using an extended mag with either rate of fire, crit damage or weapon damage is dependent on your build and the situation/activity you are in.

Rate of fire for example will be of benefit in a one-on-one gun fight in the dark zone, particularly if you already have high crit damage on your smg. However, you will obviously spend more time reloading and be doing less damage per bullet than the other options.

Crit damage is really useful for high crit builds. If you have high crit chance the extra crit damage from this perk will help you deal even more damage more often.

Weapon damage is also a solid option as it gives you a set increase to the damage of every bullet. For people with low crit chance builds or weapons or where you already have insanely high crit damage this is the choice for you.

Personally I use weapon damage as I already have 54% crit chance (65% when the target is out of cover) and 188% crit damage on my AUG. With pulse I'm doing upwards of 150,000 per headshot.

Also, the DPS number in the inventory is very misleading. Pay attention to the actual damage numbers you are doing to gauge what to use - you can test this in the firing range.

For those confused about DPS and why rate of fire isn't the best (or doesn't have the biggest impact on their DPS figure) you have to remember that DPS is worked out by calculating damage deal over a minute and divided by 60 to produce DPS.

Increasing rate of fire obviously increases the amount of bullets you can fire in a minute but also increases the amount of time spent reloading. High crit chance/damage builds will almost always deal more damage over a minute.

If DPS was actually calculated by damage dealt in the first second firing then this figure would be even more broken than it is now and bolt action snipers would be showing as having over 1million DPS.

I logged in today to get a message pop up apologising for the recent issues "interrupting" my gameplay (I'm assuming all the bugs, exploits, server downtime etc) and that there was a reward for me at the vendor. 150PC, nice! Shame it isn't making the game any more interesting though, the past week my regular online mates have stopped playing and I've all but done the same, there's only so many times you can repeat the same mission before its all got boring. I've only tried the new mission once, got my ass kicked and now need to grind to get better kit to be able to play it. Not very enticing!

I only hope they inject some interesting things into the game soon otherwise this'll be soon forgotten, by me at least anyway.

If you want repetitive stale st, you should try R6 Siege, that got tiring real quick and same bullst that occured in COD, ie could be 1 second behind the action due to it being pvp hosting.

ive kinda given up on this game as grinding for stuff is tedious, never did bother to cheese my way through the missions and just get fked up if i go in the dz by players 20+ levels above. Even had a lvl 30 take me down with a vector and yet i cant touch them or the insta drops/lag that occured. Glad its coming up to summer time now so i can go outside

I'm in the stage of the game where there's no point playing on my own. I run through the hards on my own in no time at all, but can't even scrath the surface of a challenging.

I can run around in the DZ 1-4 areas with no real issues but if you come across rogues they will always be in a group so no point tackling them on your own as you just get team killed.

The drops are only really worth extracting to break down for parts, and then if anything worthwhile did drop you are again on your own with the possibility of groups killing you.

I only go on now when friends are on.
