Maybe, there isn't an option to select which wheel you have like the other games do. I'm by no means an experienced racer, mostly just gt and f1 but I sold my dfgt for t300rs in preparation for Project cars and I have to say, it makes the dfgt feel like a toy in them games. I just can't really feel anything with drive club, ffb is at 100% and still not too impressed, will be putting on more miles this week. I have around 3k miles on f1 2014 on ps3 with this wheel and love it, maybe I was expecting too much as with a pad it seemed really enjoyable. Ah well, just thought I'd share my thoughts so people had a view, there are vids online so they maybe worth checking out.

You could do anything, eat, sleep, perhaps go for a walk, the world is your oyster. Have you tried it on-line - quite good fun. What do you think of the weather effects?

Well I have spent some time with this game now and I am really enjoying it. It is definitely a step further away from reality than Forza, but then I'd argue that Forza wasn't exactly true to life either.
Driveclub certainly has that 'just one more go' feeling, it really is good fun, I didn't really get that from Forza 4, it just felt like a bit of a grind.
There are a few little touches that make it fun. For example I was doing a time trial, and just kept on lapping a circuit trying to get the 3 star time, I was struggling with it but kept on going to learn the track, as time went by the sun started to set. this wasn't a pre-programmed fixed length race, I'd just been at it ages, very cool feature.
I have been punted into the wall by the AI a few times, but if anything that felt like being up against other drivers on-line, and I can't honestly say that the fault was the AI, I was probably braking too early for a corner or jostling for the racing line. I've never really felt that hard done by.
The one thing I do hate is the drifting stages. I'd like to be able to switch these stages off. I end up doing them over and over and over to get the 3 star score and it can be very tedious. When I do succeed it's quite often pure luck, I just don't have the finesse for that sort of control, it goes against the grain trying to deliberately take a slower route through a corner. Though it's far from a deal breaker.
So as I think I will carry on playing this for a while are there any spaces in PH clubs for a pretty casual gamer that I could join in?

Got a PS4 last week along with GTAV and DriveClub.
Looks pretty good so far but have also preordered ProjectCARS.

Ordered a Thrustmaster T300RS on Saturday and it arrived today.
I'm not joking when I say this now turns the game from really good (with a controller) to absolutely amazing with the wheel!
I have just spent the last 4 hours hot lapping the same track in a Caterham and it was sublime!
