I bought and downloaded it from PS+ yesterday. Took a while for the 15Gb download even with 1Gb internet connectivity but it's very smart in the way it does it, letting you play with the courses and cars it downloads first. Up and playing in less than 10 minutes. It's very quick, graphics are beautiful. Gameplay is certainly an arcade rather than simulation. At the moment I seem to be bullying my way to the front rather than using any finesse. Sure it'll get there. Good to finally have a driving game smile

Just found the PSN deal, wow that seems cheap. Was planning to pick up a disc today for about £50....

However, having just moved further into the country I think my 5mb line might struggle with 15+gb.

Probably being really thick here, but I assume if I get this PS Plus upgrade for £35, that will give me the full game? You don't have to have the scaled down version first (which I don't think is available yet?)?

The free version hasn't been released yet, to give the servers a break.

After playing an hour on it one has to question just how bad the first one was. It is ok, graphics are not exactly what I expect of next-gen, the handling is very arcade like, tracks are all made up I believe with a mixture so far of a couple of race tracks and some rally type stages on concrete and gravel but very little difference on the handling that I can tell. There isn't even any setting adjustments for traction control or anything else just auto or manual transmission.

Seems to be some glitches on the lighting too as one track as the sun was going down I could hardly see a thing it was that dark and not my tv settings. Too much leaves and garbage blowing across the road while they seem to neglect the overall graphics and scenery, mind boggles.

Not even managed to get on line yet so can't comment on that yet.

I wouldn't pay anymore than £35 for it that's for sure, give it 6 months it will probably be free on psn+, fingers cross for Project Cars.

It does make you question just how bad the original one was and having only had 12 months to make this one sounds like oys showing. I wonder how desperate they were to get the game out before Project Cars. lf I hadn't have seen the PCars trailer I would have left my deposit on DC and by the sounds of things left disappointed!

I will persevere because its my only driving game but my god what a terrible game. Graphics nothing special, its basically like an iPad app made for the ps4 controls. Its enough to make you want to buy a ps3 and play gt. Maybe I'm expecting too much from next gen or maybe I'm just not into arcade racers, I guess I haven't tried it with a wheel yet so will see.

But let me get this straight - the £34.99 online thing, thats for the basic version that was supposed to be free, then you pay £19.99 to get the full amount of tracks and cars? SLS you've got to purchase in the store, can't you even win it? This whole damn game should be free with playstation plus or it should've been bought out on the PS4 release day as a subpar title.

I preordered the PS4 Drive Club bundle on Amazon a year back before the PS4 was released.

Clearly not the smartest decision seeing how they shipped my PS4 separately and are now charging me 8€ extra for shipping the retail version of the game. Looking at the feedback so far, I should probably put the copy up on ebay before more reviews get published.
Then again I don't even know why I have a PS4 to begin with... how about a 1:1 GT6 port for christmas please?

If anyone wants the full game for £29 (download version) go to cdkeys.com and buy a £35 PSN card (discounted).

Servers are being iffy for me also.

Not the greatest of racing games but it is my only choice at the moment, aside from buying an Xbox One as well..

Yup servers have been up and down like a yoyo, hard to judge the social side, I can see it has promise, setting challenges and such.

It has not had many good reviews but was looking for a =game to play on my PS4 so bought it anyway, I'm actually quite enjoying the tour, it drives well enough, decent sensation of speed, I haven't had half the issues that some of the reviews mention with penalties etc, probably because I use brakes not cars or barriers to slow down and don't cut corners, Gran Turismo online beats that out of you.

It feels a little light on content and options for a full price game, if this was meant to be free-to-play it wouldn't of surprised me, it reminds me of GT racing or something on my phone but with good controls smile which would be fine but it lacks the option to tune, buy cars or have them in your own colour, some of it understandable as you couldn't set challenges etc. without a level playing field but still a bit limited.

The PS4 does not support Logitech wheels so was unable to try that and almost didn't buy it because of that but it's not really a sim so cut it some slack, it plays fine on controller, I prefer its driving to the likes of NFS Rivals.

All told, I've been enjoying it, but I like things like beating leader board times against friends etc, sometime more than the actual games I am playing biggrin , I'm sandys on PSN also, if you want to add me, add a comment like PH or something on the request and I'll be less likely to ignore it.

No it's free and you can upgrade to the full game for £34.99 or £28 odd pounds at cdkeys
