Are there any future clan matches being arranged?
Definitely. Was waiting for a server as its a lot easier to organise with one. Once we have it I will get on the case.

As Sway says above, happy for anyone else to help out/organise something/ identify a clan in game that you want me to contact.

With regard to map rotation I’d suggest against dlc maps as it would mean excluding a large number of players. Not sure about Karl Macs choices, with the exception of Shanghai don’t particularly like them smile(particularly Locker and there will be lots of servers devoted to that) and also think Rogue is a good map!

TobylaRohne – how many hours ahead of us are you – best time to catch maximum numbers is probably around 9/10pm UK time.

at the moment I am 2 hours ahead but it goes upto 3 when daylight savings changes. Typically on a night I'm in bed by 10.30 and on a weekend (thursday friday for me) I stay up a bit later if I'm not out and about.

Unfortunatly (BF4 wise) I have races for the next 7 weekends on the trott so wont be on much other than between 4.30pm to 8.30pm UK time

Also, Youngsyr, how did you spot me when I came for you last night, still trying to work out if when you are in crouch whether the motion sensor works or not? Stupidly I only came armed with a sniper rifle/pistol and then paused as I wasn't sure if you had spotted me or not. You had!
A ha, thought you were a little slow on the draw! There was definitely someone showing up on my map, but it may have been your bodyguard following behind you - Karl Mac, he finished me off after our shoot out.

Did anyone notice the tank driver on our side who dominated on Dawnbreaker and Rogue Transmission?

I gunned for him on Dawnbreaker and he went something like 33-1. On Rogue he did even better.

I'm purely a hardcore player, so doubt i'll be on the server much, if at all smile
However, what I would really love is a server that rotates randomly through every map and every game mode, even though I know it is logistically impossible.
One that rotates through all maps and modes that have the same amount of players in them though...
Yup that would be good. Variety is what it's all about...

I'm willing to set up a HC only server if there is enough interest?

Can it be made to have spotting and mini map? They are the only things I missed from a HC match the other night.

Why is there a dislike for HC?

Because there's no mini map or spotting! laugh

The only HC game I've ever played was last week when I went for the GOL Magnum assignment. I got a little frustrated! rage

Shows at the bottom where minimap is off by default, can it not be enabled ? Ive not even checked as I thought it was set up by the server not player options?

Yes, I believe it can be enabled/ configured at a server level. To me, not having a mini map or spotting enabled are big parts of the HC experience. Without them, the games will be just core with 1 shot killing (essentially and effectively).

Horse for courses but, not my cup of tea.

For me and my internet speed HC just means I die every two seconds. My only hope is non-hardcore where the additional moments to not die can sometimes help me.

Will occasionally play hardcore, but usually don’t for the following reasons:-

Team mates deliberately killing you – doesn’t happen that often but annoying when it does.
Accidentally killing team mates, softcore encourages you to shoot first ask questions later, I find it hard switching between the two modes resulting in some unhappy team mates.
Its too easy to kill people/be killed I prefer the fact that softcore demands greater accuracy/consistency.
I hate being killed by someone with no easy way of knowing where they are to exact revenge.
And probably most importantly softcore is what I started playing, if I had started on hardcore I’d probably not be sure about softcore.

And yes I know its more realistic (sort of, you still get to die and come back to life seconds later!) but if I wanted realistic I would be working with Havoc.

Yeah that.

Plus without spotting leading to a big coloured triangle above someone's head colour blind fools like me have no hope unless the enemy dress in bright yellow camouflage...

The normal stuff does it's job too well!

As for realism, bf4 is about as far removed as cod even in hardcore mode... Perhaps the all time great for realism was operation flashpoint... But even then it's still somewhat removed!

It would be good if when you attempt to join a friend in a match of the same clan, that it attempt to A) put you in the same game B) put you on the same side with the option to switch out once joined. The number of times Ive tried to join in, gone into a match, not been able to swap sides only to find out in the end listing that Im not even in the same game ffs!

Email sent.

My favourite maps are Lancang Dam and Zavod. I can't stand Operation Locker.

Annnnnd rent a server option is gone:

"Due to a high demand for the Rent-a-Server Program on PlayStation 4, we’ve noticed an issue with 64-player servers and removed the RSP option on this platform until players can properly access what they’ve paid for. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we continue to improve the RSP program."
http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/news/view/ren...https://twitter.com/bravoINTEL/status/461662436563...

And it seems 64 player servers are still fked.
Nice one DICE!
