Played 20minutes so far... Half way to unlocking two of the new weapons. Longevity isn't a phrase in use at dice it seems.
Anyone else see similarities between the new maps and old ones like grand bazaar?

A positive post from Havoc - thats getting quoted!! Despite the lack of vehicles I am liking the new maps, and using the MAV to get a couple of assignments done, did emphasise the epic scale of a couple of them.
CBull - sure I am teaching you to suck eggs but you do know that accessing Battlelog via PC you can see all the assignments really easily that you have to complete, what stage you are at with each, and what you'll unlock?
Desperate to get the shield as I suspect that will be a good laugh and with some squad play make for some interesting situations, imagine the underhall on Zavod, some smoke, a couple of shield carriers and IRNV sights it could be very amusing.
Regarding matches, trying to contact a couple of platoons (Slaney - trying your uncles, hope that is okay, you can then fight him for who plays), but if any one has any leads let me know.

Yeah not a drama. I have noticed my uncles group (av forums) server share with a clan called THCC so even they may be up for a little match. Just go into the Store, pick Server rental 90 days, and the locations appear. If Europe isn't in grey, give a shout on here/PM/facebook.

What?!? Are you guys saying EA can't rent sufficient servers? What spec do they need to be? Can't be that high can it? Guess they would need very good internet access but can't see the server specs needing to be that high. Also why don't companies like EA put money into buying their own infrastructure like google does? It would surely make more sense as they have control over what's happening. Anyone in IT will understand the 'difficulties' you can have when 3rd parties are managing your infrastructure. I can understand for small outfits but EA is massive.

My view is there are too many private servers!
