I haven't played since Friday but the connection to EA was dropping a lot then - are the Lizard Squad DDoS attacks on PSN from the weekend still causing ripples?

I think its EAs turn to intentionally DDOS themselves...

Not suffering connection issues with any PSN related shenanigans anymore, just BF4.

Connection wasn’t too bad last night, strange though how it can change from game to game on the same server.

On a positive note, we found good place to have a dump then wash your arse

Can someone please tell Chunty how good the Type 88 is, according to him it’s one of the worst guns on the game. Quite the opposite for me.

Really struggling to get the headshots for the Deagle, I just know once I get to 20 the bloody gun will be downgraded to peashooter... need to get 9 more after playing last night in TDM - again its so annoying when someone is in there with an assault rifle or grenade launcher... Did look to join the party chat but was full at the time.

I find if you raise the network smoothing then I need to increase the sensitivity else the controls slow. Might be why I struggle in head to head rotation, but as the guys saw when there was 3 of us in TDM on Golmud, I cant hit a barn door with a banjo but its supposed to be fun isnt it?

PLay conquest and go sniper hunting, instead of tags, head shot them instead. Trouble is though, everyone gotten smarter now and finding a prone person is hard.

Unless you have exceptional aiming skills for a running n gunning head shot

Use Judge's tactics on Hainan Resort, you need to be on the team that starts near the beach villas (flag E), as Recon with a carbine/DMR, MAV and spawn beacon.

Go straight to the opposite team's base by boat/jet/jet ski (remember the fast attack boat is a mobile spawn point and constantly has a jet ski on the back that you can use) and hide your spawn point in one of the one room buildings (we had them at school and called them "demountables"). Then use the MAV to spot snipers in the hills and "execute every last motherfcking one of them"!


Either that or play Capture the Flag and spawn camp the enemy attack heli from about 5m off to the side (lie prone). You'll be able to one shot 3 or 4 pilots in the head before serious rage ensues and you have half the team trying to kill you!

The Hainan part of ^this^ works well. Need to try the CTF approach now.

Zavod (Conquest) is also good for pistola head shots. I got 5 very easily in one game the last time I did it and didn't get killed once.

At 'D', climb on top of the building and navigate your way to the 'up and over' platform that also forms the bridge to the building over 'C'. If you now look down at 'D', you'll notice a large pipe protruding out. You can camp up on that seemingly invisibly to anyone and it gives you a nice vantage point to pick people off all around below (when their on the platforms is particularly easy) and extending out to the stairs that lead to 'C'. You're only really vulnerable to players on top of the same building so just take a look around every now and then.

The CTF spawn camp is like taking candy from a baby! The heli spawns well out of the combat zone and there is no other spawn point near it. The only tricky part is getting to the spawn point undetected.

Once there, you can just sit there, with your pistol already aimed at the pilot's (rear) seat.

As the heli is so popular and takes a couple of seconds to get the rotors up to speed, you can typically get 2 or 3 head shots before one of your victims spawns elsewhere and comes looking for revenge.

May have a crack at it tonight, I do have a few to get though. Every map I've played recently doesn't seem to cater to pistol play. I have got my tank kills up though!

haha i cant believe how long you spent messing about with that water! lol

And look no one will tell me how good the Type 88 is becuse its ste! its less accurate than a PDW and is hopeless with any suppressor one there. MG4 or AWS all the way.

Im on tonight though so you can try to persuade me how good it is if you like. lol

I had some great games tonight/early evening - felt like I had a half second advantage against pretty much everyone. Been a long time since I had that. Had a KDR of 6 or 7 to 1 for a few games!

Seem to go back to normal after an hour or so though.

Edit: just looked back through the match reports and my best was 16-1 (Squad Deathmatch) - now I know what Pilchard feels like!
