So this is what pazz (cbull) and chunty are playing on these days! Got surprised by the wife with a ps4 before, but it came with wathdogs and fifa. Where can i get BF4 cheap? new to this PS4 thingy so silly question, can i just download it from somewhere for less than the £59.99 on the PS store?

As far as I know, PS store is the only place to download games for the PS4.

Amazon have the disc copy of the game reasonably cheap, £39.

Bear in mind that if you buy it second hand, you'll need to buy a new an online pass.

bugger! yeah i saw that on amazon, but the xboxone version is only £26! If the ps3 one was that much i'd buy it, but cant justify £40 for 2 months until new cod comes out.

The wife also bought me ghosts second hand which is coming next week, am i going to have to buy a pass for this as well? i do have ghosts on ps3 with all map packs.

I picked up a used copy for £25 at CEX the other day. As long as they have enough copies to get a box in decent nick then pre-owned games are pretty decent value. Don't need any codes or anything I understand so that's a bonus too.

To be fair, Destiny still has horrendous connection issues two weeks in, so it seems like no-one can bring out a properly finished game.

Was playing with havoc earlier on.ctf metro, one round we totally dominated the ruskies.

Next round, same teamish, got absolutely spanked, hardly anyome on my side wemt + k/d etc

Sooner they bring out the patch the better

The game has been out for a year and the Beta was out before that and they haven't fixed it yet. I'm not holding my breath for anything in this patch.

Big CTE patch due on the 30th Sept. Changes are too long to list in full here but its worth a google

I agree with CBull! Julian and pilchard both have strange internet connections that seem to add a one second delay onto mine when I play against them. Well that's what I'm sticking to anyway. lol it's not cos we are crap mate

Glad to hear it Sqeezy. As mentioned CEX are selling for £25, you should get it for £15-20 on Gumtree and Game are selling new for £35. The DLC is £40 but its quite rare we're OK n them maps so no need to worry about that.

I'm sure I seen the Ghosts Season Pass for a tenner somewhere. Maybe worth a scan on HDUK for that. HTH.

I play on xbox 360. That thread died a long time ago, but i found if I was in a party it would affect the lag.

I don't think it was just the Battle Log. The PSN in general was very shoddy, to point where crashed BF because I was trying to load the friends list. STILL don't know how they've improved the network, it seems no different to how it performed 5 years ago.

Jesus, I suspect people just join a random server to play some TDM and don't expect any rules. Am I right in thinking it's only at the point where the splash screen pops up that you see the text Pistols & Knives Only? If so it's probably not that obvious if the loading screen is missed. That and some just don't give a toss.
