The game has been out for a year and the Beta was out before that and they haven't fixed it yet. I'm not holding my breath for anything in this patch.

What's the story with that? I gather it's to do with getting revenge on a neighbour, but why is having frozen (then thawed) sausages in your lawn such a bad thing - don't they just rot down to fertiliser pretty quickly?

Thing is, even with the headset, you'll be so frustrated at being (unfairly) shot that you'll only know you've pissed the missus off when she storms in shouting you've woken everyone up. Well mine does anyway....

I've had a pair of the original sony wireless earphones for the past 2 and a bit years and over 2,000 hours () of gaming - cannot fault them.

They integrate extremely well with the PS3 & 4, displays volume, mute, battery status on screen at the push of a button and the "7.1" surround sound does give you an edge in game (hearing where people are running/shooting from).

They also block out all exterior sound, so someone can be sitting right next to you talking and you won't hear them!

Agreed, but then there is nothing better than knowing a squad is going to come around the corner and having your M249 set up on a bipod waiting for them.

Think of it as going "All In" in a poker game - you're basically saying "I'm here, and I'm going to take your tags!", whilst simultaneously inviting every other PHer in the game to try to take yours.

Perhaps just spending time with him and making the effort to get to know him will bring your wife some comfort, even if she doesn't learn all that much. Sometimes that's all you can do.

On a more serious note, I miss the Tea Bagging from BF4, when is the new DLC out?

Not sure I want to get involved in BF4 again though, having been away for a while I doubt my tolerance for lag/glitches is as high as it was - not that Destiny is much better, it just hides it better and limits the number of people playing in an area.

If you liked Far Cry 3 - it is the same game but better basically.

Doesn't help really - haven't played any Far Cry games!

FPS games I've played recently are BF2:BC, BF3, BF4, Destiny.

Have also played GTA series up to GTA 4 on the PS3.

F'ing great - I turn the game on for the first time in 3 months after being royally screwed by the Destiny DLC, load up a sniper rifle ready to get back into it, spawn in, line up a juicy headshot, pull the trigger and...

...nothing!

Then I was shot by my target.

Spawned in, exact same thing happened.

Is this a new glitch or something?

When I switch to my pistol, it fires as normal. Switch back to the sniper and nothing.

I'm using the L96 by the way on Flood Zone conquest.

Have lost count of the number of people who've told me they've fixed the game whilst I've been away!

Ok, turns out that my controller, which works perfectly fine on every other game, doesn't work on BF4?

Also, the game I joined earlier was as glitchy and laggy as ever - half the time the bolt action animation didn't work on the sniper rifle, movement was stuttering, enemies juddered across the screen and it coming out of ADS/wouldn't go into ADS reliably.

How do you guys find the game now? I just had to quit out of my second game as it was literally unplayable - was in a tank and it kept switching into and out of zoom and even switching weapons whilst teleporting back 10m?

I don't remember it being this bad?

Having come from a multiplayer game where lag isn't a big issue, I can tell you it's not lag - it's a broken game.

For example, I've played 500 hours of Destiny without a single sound drop out. I've had 3 in the past hour alone on BF4.

Seems they couldn't even be bothered to fix the assignment progress at the end of the game - it's still showing me "progress" on assignments I achieved over 6 months ago!

Anyone who thinks DICE have fixed this game since launch is having a laugh.

That was my big fear - just BF4 (with all the lag, glitches and issues) with a different look.

Won't be taking the plunge anytime soon, unless people on here say it's much improved.

Where are all the AAA rated games for the Next Gen consoles - they've been out for going on 18 months now?
