yes quite, especially when you see him holding a sniper rifle and it doesnt dawn on the person requesting the ammo that, while he was a support dude, he is now recon
He's still Support. He just acquired one of the one shot Battlefield pick ups when he was in the pillbox. lemmingjames said:
I'm not a sniper fat but looks like the Sr338 to me.
Knobend requesting ammo should just have picked up someone else's kit
I (Knobend) did after having to knife to bloke at the end of the vid... the guy i was asking ammo from just stood there after watching me......as a temp recon helping his teamKnobend requesting ammo should just have picked up someone else's kit

You can see the pallet that he picked it up from inside the bunker. You can see the v shaped muzzle brake and hear the action of the bolt as he reloads..Knobend requesting ammo should just have picked up someone else's kit
I think I am right in saying that the Support in question doesn't have ammo equipped but actually needs some himself as the ammo box icon above his head is flashing and not solid.

Chaps, why is it at the start of a round when I'm ready to deploy, I can never get into an attack helicopter or jet straight off?
I mean, I can't even cursor over to them? Am I being thick here and doing something wrong?
They changed it a while ago so you have to "Ready" then you can hover over the vehicle you want to spawn in. But don't click it like you used to as this just puts you back to the "Ready", you have to wait until "Deploy" appears and then click it. PITA. I mean, I can't even cursor over to them? Am I being thick here and doing something wrong?

How much ammo did you use trying to prompt someone with no ammo packs (remember even support can deploy without them) to drop you ammo? It does boil my wee this kind of stuff though, so many lone wolf types with no concern for anyone else or the bigger picture, much like tools who don't accept commander orders at the start on the easy flags so that the commander has access to drop them ammo etc earlier.
Humans = idiots.

Surely if he didn't have an ammo pack/crate in one of his inventory slots then the icon shouldn't show on the map as him having supplies? 1st thing i always do as a support is chuck a crate down at any location i arrive at. peace of mind for me and more points if people stray over to get ammo. I PTFO which can involve going off and sneaking to capture a flag which is unoccupied (normally ones closest to opposition base as most pubs just follow the heard in rounds) and the VAL goes through rounds pretty quickly. Shame the val isn't in the support class like it was in BF3. Lone wolfing creeps in when none of you guys are on the server. Kind of like to follow one or 2 of you guys when online for backup etc
The whole icon above the head thing for ammo is a bit of a mess IMO, I've always been under the impression that flashing is "need" and solid is "have, can give" but I'm probably wrong. The issue is that if you are playing and fire 1 bullet or put down a TUGS etc it starts to flash so you have no idea if someone needs ammo or not.
Now in your video I see that the "sniper" needs ammo rather than has ammo to give but at this stage in playing I've pretty much given up on trying to work this stuff out and just try not to get too wound up by other idiots playing. It's good to not be able to use a headset for fear of waking up my daughter as I'd probably be banned by now if I could.

Think it only flashes if they have requested. Genuine question : What's with the 'fetish' for all the 'tea bagging' that seems to be rife in BF4 ?
I didn't know there were so many gamers that 'get on the other bus' so to speak. Is it seen as a 'masculine' game that attracts many from the gay community or something?
Please educate me, I don't understand it!

Genuinely confused - but not by which bus I get on to though Is it one player displaying a 'virtual fondness' for another?.... or is it just a silly thing that has become 'fashionable'?
I did try to find some answers on the internet before posting the question here, but being at work I was getting hits on the firewall.... unsurprisingly!
(I'm sort of expecting a call from I.T. at some point whereby my reasons for the search are going to go down in the 'hall of fame' no doubt) !!!

I shoot them, T=bag, then put down my controller and beat my chest and roar!! If it is THJ or Lemonjames I T-bag them with my webcam!
It's pretty much the only insult you can give when you're not in mike communication, so it's used as additional emphasis to highlight how thoroughly 'owned' you were in a particular situation.
That and I like the feel of lips on my scrotum.

In essence, can you imagine anything more humiliating than having someone beat you to the point where they are able to dangle their balls in your face unhindered.
I doubt anyone does it for any sort of sexual reason.
It's been around since N64 goldeneye days at least, so not fashionable, just...popular.
