I don't play very often but when I do I'm always reminded of just how good it is. Had a flew plays this weekend and really enjoyed it, was even in the upper half of the score board for one of them
It really is great online. Played it also recently and had great fun as an engineer, maxed out the Assualt class already. I think I joined the Pistonheads clan, but haven't had a game on it for almost a year - so much more fun when you can communicate with your team-mates and work to the objectives. Same applies to GTA online, a lot more fun with friends online.

I moved house recently and had to go from fibre to normal broadband that apparently has no bandwidth, BF4 will load but it's totally unplayable due to lag and weird issues where I can only stand still or rotate in one place. Oddly general internet connectivity speeds aren't too bad. Pretty annoyed as it's been bad enough being unable to play because of the move, I was really looking forward to a game today.

Grabbed it in the hope I can play it when I escape from 1995 Internet speeds smile (0.3MB down, 0.1MB up today, woohoo!)

new maps alright, played it on my non gaming tv and found it sucked, played it on my gaming tv and it worked, ie able to drop people. Still some bullst hits but thats the normal.

New pickup gun is an m60 gun from a downed huey (so more vietnam than BF4) that you cant aim down the sights on. Not sure what the difference is to a normal m60 though

if you dont have the phantom bow, you can now pick it up and keep it. IF you head towards C in the new map, then head towards D(?) the base on the river, theres a valley if you like and some ammo boxes stacked up. Smash a couple and it pops up there. Basically the opposite side to where you pick up the m60 from the heli

If you head towards E while on C and go through the buildings but look for a cave rather than go up the hills. Then go through until you see the pile of boxes. The first one you see is black. Melee that and you will be flash banged and the crate will be opened.

Liking the new map. Got a bit of playable area no one bothers to use which is perfect for attacking the back bases smile

It feels bigger but not being able to take the docks or the airfield and having the carrier is something that seems like a miss. Great to have more detail to everything and the cloud cover is handy for jets. I'm a fan, something for most classes.

How is BF4 nowdays? Haven't played since the summer, and had read somewhere yesterday they've cleaned up most of the bugs and made it into a much better game then when it started?

Nah its still the same hit and miss im afraid. They apparently did a small hot fix yesterday as well or something.

Ive played the new map and its massive, as in 2 big even with 32 players either side. Looks pretty but bit boring unless you want to hang around the middle

I found it is worse since the patch. Day before i went 30-10 routinely over 3hrs, after pack it was literally reversed.

Deleted battlefront - it's turbo gash, battlefield lite... one for the kiddies and cashing in on Star Wars with a product that could have been so much better and with far better gameplay than the tosh they rolled out.

Live and learn i guess.

I just think it depends on the map and who you are up against really as ive seen it work both ways, ie ive become a bullet sponge and 1 shot drop and then had it the opposite, had it both happen in the same game which is annoying.

Though in the new map, i seem to have a good connection no matter what

Had a few hours on it last night, still havent managed to get my head around the buttons as I keep trying to spot things and its not happening!
Also found it a bit tiring with some guys obviously having some heavy weaponry and Ive got what seems to be a bloody peashooter.

Still, Ive uploaded all the other stuff for BF4 and have a few games..

I think it is all Judge's fault. He overhyped it!
