Battlefield 4 (PS4)

Also, can’t seem to get this working on my own profile (possibly because I haven’t played yet) but in Battlelog if you look at Kagliostro71 in my friends you can see all the weapons/vehicles and their respective unlocks, some interesting stuff on the vehicles, looks like it will pay much more to be driving round with a buddy.

Just went out to buy it - I'm told it's not in shops until tomorrow - was sure it should have been today.

With this in mind where's the best place to buy online to make sure I get the most value with freebies etc?

Downloaded and installed it earlier tonight.....

Decided to go with it on PS3, and take advantage of the PS4 £10 offer when i eventually cross to the PS4.

Here's to hoping it was actually worth the wait.

Got a text message a little while ago to say my pre-order of BF4 LE is in at my local Game and ready for pick-up tomorrow

Only problem is they close at 6pm so I may not be able to get there in time. Right need to come up with a cunning plan to get out of work early.

Oh and anybody know what the LE version gives you over the standard, didn't even realise I'd ordered the LE.

I only got the book for the Battlepack but as someone who can't play as much as I'd like it might be helpful.

First complete game lock-up (needing a PS3 reset) happened within 5 minutes of playing - anyone else suffering or is my machine about to die?

Is anytone buying this and staying on PS3 for atleast 6 months or is everyone just buying it as a stop gap till ps4??

I don't see myself buying a PS4 for a while but I said I wouldn't get BF4 until the price dropped so who knows

I had this. But got about an hour in ok.

But for me it is laggy as feck. Mind BF3 was too, and BF2 before it....

Managed to pick up my pre-order 5 minutes before the store closed. Bought the season pass too, would have been rude not to as I know I'll be playing this for a while

The plan is to swap it for the PS4 version in a month but the season pass etc will just transfer so all's good although I may delay the PS4 now as the launch titles aren't filling me with enthusiasm, we'll see nearer the time I guess.

I also got given two gold battlepack redeem codes (along with lots of other goodies) anyone know what these battlepacks give you?

Oh just had the first system freeze within 10 minutes of starting to play. 3 such incidents reported in this thread already. Oh dear, this doesn't bode well.

Done the first couple of campaign missions and while it is great fun it is glitches galore with Chinese paratroopers abseiling out of helicopters but only to start gaining altitude and I was unable to shoot the fkers out the sky as they ran about above me. Though it seems pretty quick and the scenery damage when you let off or get attacked with grenades/exlposives is very impressive.

Reading the PS4 '£9.99' upgrade it seems you will need to have the PS3 disk in the PS4 console plus additional download for it to work so your plan might be scuppered.

Managed to get few games in before my broadband shat itself:/

I'm well impressed with how they optimised it for ps3 since the beta! Attack boats on paracel storm can do a lot of damage when you have good squad on it. New operation clusterfk will be mental with 64 players on ps4.

Also watched bf4 showdown, the redone version of operation metro does look awesome!

I'm on my 10th now, it's proving impossible to get the 75% XP multiplier I'm due for playing an hour or more at a time.
