+1, essentially they've penalised the more casual of us who haven't spent every waking moment playing. I was in a 16 player race, good long point to point, fought for 4th position, got $490! went to free roam, shot in the head by another player, cost me $500 to re-spawn, great! after all that im down $10.
Do a mission for Gerald by myself, kit up with a $495 stab vest, get $500 for completing the mission. now im only down $5 from when i originally started over 30 minutes ago!
So, looks like i can make more money in free roam, selling in cars to LSC, simeon vehicles and robbing armoured trucks and stores. but thats never as fun as the missions.
I hope theres a patch to 'up' the money again!

Ive still not been on much (Just a couple of times) I've been sticking to the single player game as I've never found anyone form PH online and the people that do appear just want to repeatedly attack me which grates a bit after a while!
Just go into Passive mode when you go online. It costs $100 and means you can freeroam wherever you like and people can shoot at you as much as they like. Just visiting from the PS3 thread to post the below, in case anyone hadn't seen it:

A "this weekend only" playlist of missions, not sure if this means the missions are specials for this weekend or if its just the playlist.
A sweepstake for giveaways - t-shirts and various other bit of tat
Probably the most interesting bit is they are going to host a live stream at 2pm Eastern Time today (7pm here) - says its a chance to ask them questions / tel them what you think and they may drop by in-game to see what you are up to. I wonder what they'd think of a PH offroad session ?!

Eventually got him when he tried to escape in another heli, a few well aimed (locked) missles and he was mine!!
