DICE are releasing a small patch for the beta shortly to combat the various issues such as FPS lag and hangs on the loading screen.

CPU temps in bf4 should be fine at 55c. Mine was hitting 87c before it started lagging and then I discovered one of the heatsink clamps on my i5 wasn't seated properly . Sorted now and it runs fine at about 60c - 100% load

My 670 used to hit 99'C. New case and actually setting the fan profile to automatic and it doesn't go above 70'C now.

My GTX460 gets to about 88c on BF3. But I do run things fairly high there's alot of room to knock things down if I have to.

I'll report back on four shortly..

At first I tought that BF4 is going to be great fun and then I saw this:

These requirements are insane...

Do you know what a PC that meets the recommended criterai would cost?

Well I ran it at the same settings as 3 and.. it's manageable, barely. Looking at those requirements no wonder I am suffering! I have a quad core CPU, but only 6Gb RAM and my GPU isn't going to cut it. Thats at 1600 x 900 on med-high. Knocking things down to medium is better.

Tonight it was atrocious. Constant stuttering and FPS in single digits, usdually either just before or just as I came across someone. I got the on screen FPS Indicator showing 2-3FPS and then I'd be dead. Worst night so far.

The cards about £500 if u get it elsewhere lol
Looking for parts try this place
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/
Build ur own system it's cheaper

Remember u already have DVD rom hard drives and power supply (check if Gpu needs power and check ur power supply has connection for Gpu )
I recently built my 3 kids pcs mini itx boards
All u really need is mobo ram and CPU graphics card (case maybe )

Remember amd is a cheaper option

Much better rounds tonight with hardly any FPS drops and I did bloody well on some maps. The chopper pilots raging hard at the guided RPG's are awesome.

I thought I'd point my RPG at a lased chopper.... and it locked on. In amazement I fired, and took the chopper out.

This made me very happy!

I assume you can actually get guided RPG in real life?? I assumed they were just a grenade strapped to a firework.

Also loving the range adjustment and variable zoom on the sniper rifles.
I picked up a sniper rifle somewhere on the map and it had a range finder built into the scope!

Similarly air burst grenade launcher for support is pretty cool. Lock the range on a wall that the enemy is behind. Fire above the wall and it sails over and explodes above their heads. Only had splash damage, and sometimes it doesn't lock the distance in but the primcipal should be very useful.

its a beta so the game play will be poor until they have set it up, the actual release should play significantly better?
