I cannot decide whether to play the single player first this evening and then jump into the multiplayer after. Or just head straight out into mulitplayer.

I did no such Bloody thing. I merely pointed out that you would be a proper billy no mates as the rest of our regular gaming group weren't tight Hippies and bought the bloody game.

Reading peoples opinions online it seems there is mega issues with hitreg(again) audio problems, connection problems, changes to aerial vehicle controls, infantry combat botched compared to bf3, Counter knifing? WTF??? and TTK is too low.


Anyone here played it enough to get a good opinion themselves?

ETA: just looked at a weapon list and can't see the AS-VAL there. Can anyone confirm?

If you have an Nvidia card, install the beta driver for it. The Nvidia beta drivers have been made specifically for BF4 and I went from 10-15 fps to 30-40 on medium settings.

This is the reason I'm not getting this on release this time round.


Will monitor this thread to see what you guys think about the gameplay.



My biggest gripe with BF3 were the 'small maps' (centrally located flags). Can anyone tell me if the maps are more a kin to the BF2 maps of old....or has this version been CoDified as well.
