Anyone else getting problems with the Dragons Teeth expansion?Im a premium member so thought I got this included in that?Am I mis remembering that? If not,BF4 says I need to buy it. Have updated the game with a right click but still the same. Any suggestions, although I dont fancy having to reinstall many many gigabytes!,

ETA Problem solved I think, damn thing hadnt finished downloading, despite Origin saying game was up to date-obviously doesnt apply to DLC!

I downloaded the week trial of BF4 yesterday. Any of you guys still playing regular? Had a few games this afternoon and quite like it. My PC struggles a bit with it though. Got it on Medium settings and getting about 40 fps :-(

I think BF4 is a massive backwards step from III, the graphics look horrible (like some sort of horrible conversion from a console game) and the gameplay just feels weird. Sticking to BF3, one good outcome is the hackers have all but disappeared to go and play BF4
Bad Company 2 was better than everything that has come since for game play. Graphics are slicker on the newer games but the environments are less destructible.

What are you running Glade? I'm cooling with bog standard Dell OEM parts and don't have any issues with temps.

I think the vid card (Radeon 5700 series, 1gb blah blah) on my home pc is on the blink (literally). Taking it to my IT guys for confirmation. if it is, what should I be replacing it with? Is £150 a reasonable budget? Quick Google brings up a Radeon R9 (whatever that is) in the price range...that a decent mid range card? Any suggestions (could creep the budget a little if really necessary)

Keep an eye out for the new R9 285 series. A wee bit above budget but you might find a deal. Due in the next few days.

AMD FX 9370 Black, 8-Core CPU overclocked to 4.7GHz
Corsair H80 Hydro Cooler
Asus Sabertooth 990FX Chipset
8GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 2133MHz

Think the cooler was broken... because replacing it has meant it's running cooler than ever overnight!

I think I see your problem - that is a hot chip at standard clocks. At least you'll survive the long cold winter biggrin
