However, I think pretty much everyone just stole them on the day, made very limited mods, didn't store them and when they exploded on the way down Chilliad that was it. Not even sure I got to the top of Chilliad after lowering mine and slamming it.

I still have mine for the same reasons. I don't use it much other than when it gets accidentally selected for races.

Wow, that's a bit rubbish. Especially as I always seem to be up against people with mods and so have no chance of winning! I do need to get my RP up, at least enough to be able to get the decent missions without having to wait for someone. Not sure if it's me but the last two times I've been on everything seems to be paying out a lot less RP. I had tow long sessions the other week and it only went up a couple of points. I'm sure before it'd shoot up a lot more doing the same amount of missions.Some of the best gta antics I have seen in a while!

I don't think most of us have problems doing stock car races to keep things even. We even sometimes will pick certain vehicles we all use to keep it fair - I particularly liked it when we all went in Vaccas - very underrated vehicles for sweeping races. Next time you're on in a group, just ask! Most of us are fair game for that sort of thing.Edit:
The Roosevelts are now available in all Rockstar-made (and most custom made) races under the 'Sports Classics' class, though of all the stock ones available it's the slowest since the Peyote, Manana and Tornado aren't available. As for mine, I sold it, but I still have the Dusters I got for the event!

I won races with both my characters by joining random races (racing against crew there's always somebody quick to beat you). Not sure that works so well now since it's been out a while.
