Just did A Boat In The Bay before going to work (solo, hard). Started in town so had to drive to Paleto Bay; took it slowly so it was well over 20 minutes, and got £20,400. That has to be the highest possible payout for that mission done solo (so £26,520 for 4 players). Not an effective grind because it's quite long even done as quickly as possible and a bit too easy to fail (the boat's a bit fragile), but it adds to the stats.
I think I've sussed out the time/payout basis
Found two tables on GTA forums, one with the game code (thanks to Funmw2, creator of FOS v3) and one with a chap's timed plays of Potshot:
A quick analysis gives the following (I've ignored RP since I don't really notice it in game anyway):
1. f is the base payment for a mission; you can get up to double that if you do it slowly (and up to 1.3x that if you have 4 players; I'm not sure if 5 or 6 increases the multiplier further). If you do it very quickly you get 10% of the base payment; I suspect that's a backstop to account for unexpected glitches.
2. We need to know the time periods then. Guessing from the game code the time periods are generic, not per mission, but bear in mind these might only apply to Potshot:
Over 15 minutes seems to be maximum (time period 10); that means 19500 is 2f. f is therefore 9750 so time period 5 is from 4 to 6 minutes.
3. We can check the workings because the money increments aren't simply a multiple of the previous payout; and that confirms it.
From this data we can't work out what TP1 might be; TP2 ends before 2.5 minutes and the following are pretty certain:
TP3 (for half money): ~2min to 3min
TP4 (75% cash): 3min to 4min
TP5: 4min to 6min
TP6: 6min to 8min
TP7: 8min to 10min
TP8: 10min to 12min
TP9: 12min to 15min
TP10: over 15min
Worth waiting for the 4min point to roll over at least, then. Now, we need to find out what the base payout (f) is for each mission...

Anyways can you get Potshot json file ?
You can get it by Wireshark , when you get invited to the mission and when you try to join then you can get json file for that mission .
Just to check UGC cash multiplier for that mission .
Update :
Damn you are smart xD .
You got the base payment for Potshot .

I've worked out a load more base payments too - couldn't have done it without you posting that multiplier list though. Cheers They're all in the 9,100 to 11,400 range so far (about 30 missions done) so I've not bothered to post them all.
One thing I've found is that the base figures occasionally aren't round numbers using my method. Makes me wonder if the time multipliers might be different for some missions, or whether there is simply rounding.

Didn't it used to be that there were ways to just find the url for jsons and download them? I remember people got the xmas snow update early by downloading the json maybe?http://gtaforums.com/topic/731535-ugc-payouts/

Hi guys. I see you're trying to stir s**t up for us on the Xbox thread. The matter has been dealt with now and it's nothing to do with you lot. You're all acting like women. And coming from a woman, that's saying saying something. We'd be grateful if you stop the slagging match. Cheers.
Wrong. It's just me.
Also, it's strange that you're telling to stop a slagging match by calling us "woman" as if it is a derogatory term.
Also strange that you would use it as a insult and then claim you are a woman.
Odd, I don't think I've encountered a female misogynist before.
Bye.
