I thought excuse was the perfect way to introduce myself.

Yes, a normal night of beers and car talk happened.

There was however, a super secret Tory bd wker plot against me.
All the pubs stopped serving food at about 9pm, which I can only imagine was deliberate to spite me after having my freedom and independence and ability to change my national anthem to the greatest song of all time.

The daily mail are getting ready to run the story about how an ordinary hard working unicorn oil owning Scottish baron tycoon was denied food in Tory heartland cause they are all racists, and gingerists, and oil unicornists and haggists, and all the other ists I can think of.

hehe

Apologies, couldn't even tell you when I did that. Had a good few missions last night (when I wasn't killing Martin!)

Apology accepted!

I was going to try and "meet" you again but decided to watch telly instead, next time your car is getting the golf club treatment :-)

Excuse..

I don't shoot team mates.

I run you over with the range rover or deliver swift blows of freedom via hammers. smile

You got a bit pushy on a lot of the races last night with me and Kahonies too. Any chance you can try and play a little fairer in future?

Didn't seem any different from the races last year, you guys gave as good as you got; however will keep in mind.

I think it depends who you are racing with really, and on what races. I think the biggest problem for misunderstandings is when people don't have a mic, its hard to tell if it was a joke or part of some banter.

Ultimately though races can be done in non contact mode smile

I did think Justin was a bit dirty to start with but to be fair i think I got even in the end, its not how I would normally drive, I like to keep it clean where possible, but saying that I can adapt my driving to suit the opposition, but normally thats for randoms not crew members, but all in all I enjoyed the varied mixture of races last night...... Andurron I was hoping for an invite to your long haul & 1/3rd in some random vehicles that was fun last Friday with a few crew members. Will probably be on later for some more races if anyones keen thumbup

Was good racing last night. had some good races with Justin but others were a bit annoying - the banzai first corner moves were the real pissboilers. Please don't take this as a personal attack, it is only a game afterall. beer

I'll be on for more antics tonight.

I agree completely. There are only so many times I'm going to try to drive round someone without hitting them to just be punted off at the next corner or turned into on the straights. Might be on later for some long haul action if anyone is up for it.driving

eta: A lot of those races had traffic on which doesn't help.

biggrin Unlocking mods quickly is very worthwhile; you don't get any money back or discounts for buying every level of mod as you unlock them, so it gets expensive. And money takes a while to earn.

As I said to Billy and Challenger last night, when I invite people to missions I'm generally not that close to the objective - that's simply to increase the time spent in the mission and bump up the payout. Yes, I know it's more efficient to keep doing missions in exactly 4:01 but it's much more gratifying to spend 10-12 mins and get $20k or so.

I'll be on tonight; anyone fancy a game of golf? Been ages since I played that.

I was semi-on (ha!) last night while cooking time, decided to see how the mission money works regarding time. So i started one of the really early missions which are very easy and take 2 mins to do but i took 5 mins to drive there (inc. afk time), then i cleared the area, then i picked up the coke and killed everyone and then drove to the end of the mission but didnt finish. i took about 15 mins to do in total.

Got about 18k, so if you are half playing while cleaning/cooking etc its worth it! I have no idea how much more you would get for a higher level mission. is the mission money capped?

Capped once you tick over 15 minutes - after that time you get double what you'd get if you did it in 4m 1s. It's always worth taking 4m 1s (it does down quickly below that time) but the increments are 1.2x from 6 mins, 1.4x from 8 mins, 1.6x from 10 mins and 1.8x from 12 mins.

There's also a slightly higher payout for a higher-level mission, so Trash Talk pays the most, but it's not that big a factor so not necessarily worth worrying about.

I've taken to loading a mission up (Crystal Clearout III or Blow Up III are good, since the objective doesn't come and kill you or move to the opposite end of the map) before making dinner, washing up etc laugh
