Ive updated the wiki for you, Have you registered on the social club too? if so, please let me know your social club username.Had a good chuckle last night. A couple of pillocks were running around in a tank and a 4x4 shooting everyone... I happened to come across them when they were swapping vehicles so shot the tank driver then his mate who came to help and nicked the tank

got to admit i'm struggling abit at the mo. not sure if its because i'm old or just rubbish.
i try and just do the online missions on my own at the mo, as starting with no money and minimal weapons is bloody hard. was this the same for everyone?
spent 2 and a half hours this afternoon trying to pick some drugs up for one bloke, deliver them to him, then go on and take the gang out in another part of town and destroy their cars.
aarrrgghhh, i still havn't completed it, getting close though
i have learnt early on though to bank my cash rather than carry it for those that kill me and then try and steal it

Do you have a garage? the 2 car one next to the los santos custom south of the city is cheap, you can sell a car every 48mins so just steal the range rovers,bmw's and sell them in between missions.
Also you get 1-2k for robbing shops so keep doing that then driving into the subway at alta st to avoid the police.
You can't steal keep the sports/super sports cars but there are some pretty good coupes/sedans that are fast enough plus i think you get the elegy (nissan gtr) free from the website and that's really good once fully modified.

I've made a quick list for myself with the highest value "street cars" you can sell. Basically it comes down to: anything that looks like a Mercedes, BMW, Range Rover or Jaguar/Masser will give you over $6k, up to 9.5k for the Jag/Masser convertible.
As for the Elegy, another great tip. Brilliant car that can keep up with the top of the crop in a lot of situations. 4WD still make it my car of choice when having rain or sand, and can easily beat the Jester and the like then.

Add the convertible M3 to that list - that's $9.5k too since the Hipster update. I remember doing missions at first feeling like a lot of effort for not much reward. Then getting Los Santos Connection and Death From Above, and simply not being able to complete them at all. Quite demoralising until you realise that they're a lot easier with crew, and that you don't need to work through them all in order, just keep playing the ones which make you most money and get good at them
[Sorry, nipped in from the PS3 thread so I can't host missions for you but I'm sure the XBox PH crew is just as good as the PS3 one
]A good place to hang around to nick cars is the car park by the pier or around the film set area.
For a free personal car to keep the schafter (big merc sedan) or fugitive (sedan massive flared wheel arches) are pretty decent and quick plus as you unlock engine mods they get even quicker.
Of the coupes keep the zion (bmw 3 series) or my favourite is the felon, it's really fast and handles well.
If you look at bottom left of map and find the pier, go up until you get the shops next to the beach, just past the 2nd shop is a track off the beach which leads under a couple of bridges, the police can't find you under the bridge so just keep robbing a shop then hiding under a bridge once you've wasted 40 mins head to the shop near the pier rob that and then hide out in the tube station at alta st (drive the car down the track) once the police have gone nick a car and sell it at lsc that should make you a fair bit of money.
Bank your money when your hiding from the police (under the bridges or in the tube station) and before you go into a shop set your gps for where your going to run and hide. Enjoy.
