Anyone know what the issues are with AC and crossfire? I was running about 120fps when just on single player with one card and since going to crossfire it now sits at 4fps ( four ) fps and hardly moves, works a treat on the other games just seems to be this one.

Have a read on here - http://steamcommunity.com/app/244210/discussions/0...

Or here - http://www.racedepartment.com/threads/crossfire-su...

People seem to have it working. On of the setups might ring a bell for you and fix it.

I currently use a XBox 360 Controller via the PC, but looking for a cheap but reasonable wheel and pedals. Yes would love a G27 but that’s a fair bit out of my price range, would go for a good second hand option.
Any suggestion?

I would say Logitech products are built so well that a second hand item would be better than a similar cheap one. My G25 is some 7 years old and still going strong.

There are a few on ebay so get on there!

I'd agree with that. I'm still using my G25 and it's about the same age.

yes Mine's 4 years old and indistinguishable from new. I am very OCD with looking after my stuff, but it's extremely well made. My wireless laptop mouse is a Logitech of the same age and also like new.

I would also go with Logitech

Either a second hand G25 as already mentioned or a new or second hand Driving Force GT if you can live without a clutch pedal.

I use an ancient Microsoft FFB Sidewinder. I actually like it and the 'weight' of the force-feedback. Unfortunately there is no clutch pedal and no H shifter, but for the £10-20 you can normally pick one up on eBay for, I don't think there is a better alternative. You need to get a USB one and it will work happily on windows 7. Avoid the gameport edition.

I cannot stop playing snoopys nurburgring track with an unassisted MP4-12C GT3. I am currently hitting 6.52 laps but there is another 4 seconds there easily. A lot more with someone good at the helm I am sure! Getting three quick laps in without kissing the barrier is a good challenge. Careful throttle and steering input required!

Flags should be interesting for online as it's a clusterfk at the moment - even on reasonable public servers the amount of idiot backmarkers make it extremely frustrating at times.

Excellent wheel! Ive got one and still use it, Microsoft wheels and joysticks were top notch in there day, Shame they dont make gaming hardware anymore. Ive also got a Sidewinder FFB joystick for my flight sims, Considered one of the best FFB sticks made for the price and you wont pick one up cheap on Ebay as everyone wants one! I have to use a Logitech momo for Pcars though as unfortunately my M/S FFB Sidewinder wheel is not supported.

Anybody got any recommendations on how to weight the steering a bit more in AC without it juddering too much? I'm getting through the full Italian hillclimb stage in an F40 and my arms arn't aching. Its just not realistic!

I'm using a G27.
