I bought mine for about £125 about 5 or 6 yrs ago now I think. Still works as well as the day I got it and it's used all the time.

There isn't much better for the price and quality without going to really high end direct drive kinda kit.

I forgot to ask when you first posted - why not a G27? Purely just for the sequential thingy?

Btw - google the sequential 'mod' for the G27 shifter - some brilliant rubberbanding going on

Personally I think the G27 feels nicer to use and is a step on from the 25, but I can understand the desire for a seq. shift.

I did leave the PC on though, I dunno if it will automatically download while in sleep mode.

Doesn't really matter, As soon as I get home I'll nudge it awake and let it do it's thing while I go to the pub for a steak with the missus.

Hi,

Do any of you guys play on private servers? I only bought AC yesterday, but would love to find a decent community (who don't drive backwards )to race with.

I used to race in the PH GT Legends and rFactor leagues years ago, when Neil (Cardiff) ran the servers.

Thanks guys. A friend has kindly just bought me the pack for my birthday, so I'll download it tonight. We get a very limited download allowance on our satellite broadband, so I'll probably download it overnight, when we get unlimited downloads, and start playing it tomorrow (by which time I bet I'll have to work evenings again!).

Haha! Yes, the G27 was discounted because of sequential, but if you can get around it, then I guess the G27 is a better option

Yeah, you needed to get in and force the download as it appeared instead of waiting for the schedule.

It's good, the sound is still poor but feels good.

Server up, Starts with 'Pistonheads' so just look for that.

I've just set 2 slots per DLC car and Norshcleiffe. It isn't passworded atm though, will see how it goes.
