I've got a weird problem. On the Ring, but not other tracks, the whole view shakes as if the car were vibrating. Anyone else?

Nope, what car?

Just a quick 7.06 in the Vette, the track is nice.

Any car.

I turned off motion blur and that seems to have sorted it.

Been trying Ring times in the 4C. Hard work to get round in one piece! Mid-nines at the minute which isn't much use, but one to work at - is anyone else doing this combination?

Had a go at that, fun little car but running out of puff, gearing could come down I suspect, 8:38

The dlc content is bloody brilliant - the F1GTR and Sauber C9 are immense and the laserscanned Nords is very well done - though Im very suprised by how close the Snoopy version is, there isnt a whole lot between them.

Some of the base game updates are disappointing though. AI are still unconvincing, flags are abit borked and some basic things like brake pressure in setup, key mapping for neutral, ignition/starter etc are still missing.

Server up, Starts with 'Pistonheads' so just look for that.

I've just set 2 slots per DLC car and Norshcleiffe. It isn't passworded atm though, will see how it goes.
Thanks for hosting. smile

Really got into the Corvette around there and the DTM Merc, very aggressive cutting warnings in some places yet none in others.

Glad you didn't try following me for too long in the Saubers as I wasn't running my trackIR and from my driving position i couldn't see the mirrors and haven't set any backup up look left/right buttons on the wheel biggrin

NP I'm leaving it up tbh as memory/cpu wise the box it's on could host a number of them, not sure on bandwidth but it seems rare to get properly populated servers.

That C9 is a proper bruiser of a car, lots of grip all round but just big massive sacks full of torque. It's lovely smile

Tried a few of the others too, the P1 takes a little time to get into the flow but once there it's very nippy. Doesn't feel as aggressive as the ferrari theferrari somehow.

The Alpha 4C, utter garbage.

The Alpha GTA, proper screamer smile very old school and drives like it has no ARBs.

The Alpha 155 V6 is a hoot, very fast if you commit to the corners properly. Very adjustable on the throttle.

Still need to try some of the others but with a headache and a cold it's having a rest.

If there are any particular preferences to cars on the server let me know I can change the setup to suit.

p.s. oh and the Nords is very good, the track flows better in places and is wider by a margin that makes it feel more comfortable. BUT!! I keep making mistakes on corners again frown Hohe Acht? (had to look it up), kept going in too fast.

Adding the Lotus 49 would be good, proper Grand Prix Legends.

Disappointed early users still have to pay for the DLC to be honest, I bought the game Christmas 2013 and to be honest there hasn't been much to play with yet so I am very disappointed that I now have to pay for DLC and I doubt that I'll bother given that the game still isn't fully developed.

Currently on the PH server, liking the BMW 235.

I think for 8 quid it is pretty bloody good value, I was a day 1 signup and didn't pay a huge amount to begin with, if you think that 10 cars and a laser scanned circuit like nords. Most of the cars are interesting as well.

I'm not sure, scanning the Ring will have cost them quite a bit I imagine?

I read on another forum that originally it was going to be more expensive but with a discount to existing owners, but they decided to make it considerably cheaper and charge everyone the same. Not sure how truw that is but this way it's more inclusive, more people can play online, the community is bigger, etc.

Wider than what? Aren't all the other versions of it wider to allow better racing?

Shouldn't this version be exactly the right width +/- 2cm?

The official line is that SPA and the SLS were going to be the DLC but they just gave it away for free.

This still means that early adopters get nothing over people like me who cam in at 1.0.

Tell you what, if the P1 is even remotely like the in-game car...

Bloody hell!

Wider than the version by Snoopy et al is what I was saying.

I would add the laFerrari as well for some hyper car battles.
