I have to pop out tonight, but here is a very poor couple of videos showing the problem:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DSvXhK7oUQ&fe...

The massive spikes cause the huge issue. On the first clip you can see the guy behind in the mirror, next thing he has shunted me as I warped into his space.

Another user has the same problem and he identified the steering wheel I am using as the problem.

I am using a Microsoft Sidewinder (old wheel) and this was causing the issue. I will implement his fix tonight and check to see if it works, more details below;

http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php?thread...

Something on the latest update must have caused the problem I guess, but since very little people use this wheel it has not been noticed. There is one guy on this thread who uses this wheel, so hopefully this might help him?

Yes, I can't believe it really. But as expected with his fix, it is now working perfectly, as before! cool

Looks very nice showing point cloud > game mesh.

Just a shame some of those hero trees are a bit wrong.

Time to get Steam re-installed and everything re-sync'd since my big reinstall a few months back!

I bought Dream Pack #3 last night and had a quick blat in the various new cars and Brands Hatch.

Not much to say about the track; it's everything you'd expect.

As for the cars...

Abarth AC: A good bit of lift-off oversteer fun but perhaps still not as great as the regular car.
RS1600: My new favourite car! If you have a particularly loose driving style or you just plain like going sideways a lot then this is the car for you. It is hilarious fun.
Type 25: Needs a lot of commitment to set decent times but it's hugely involving and feels like a real driving experience. Absolute riot to drive.
Type 72D: Another new favourite! Once you'd adjusted your driving style and tweaked the setup a bit to eliminate some understeer it can really be driven hard. Obviously not as frantic and terrifying as the 98T but more enjoyable.
Gallardo SL: Dull as a potato in standard guise but they also offer a Step 3 version with 1,200bhp. It's a really, really fast way to crash. Doubt I'll be using the SL again.
Huracan ST: Not entirely sure what the point is. It feels similar to the GT3 car but less sure-footed and somehow more boring.
AMG GT3: Definitely one of the more interesting GT3 cars but I'm getting quite bored of all the GT3 cars so doubt I'll be usign it much.
650S GT3: Fast. Boring.

I bought it last night as well. Haven't had a chance to play it yet really looking forward to a go in the escort.

Got back into this again. Tried Monaco from here http://assettocorsa.club/en/ and its great fun! The only bit that seems lacking is the tunnel, Suzuka is good too.

I was really chuffed to see DP3 as it includes my local circuit and a couple more single seaters smile I downloaded it yesterday and had a quick half hour blast around Brands Indy and loved it. Brands seems spot on, apart from the apex of Surtees, which when I did most of my racing there had a big step about 6 inches in from the track that you couldn't cut over - perhaps they've removed this now though? I haven't driven the track for a year or more.

The T25 seems rather quirky and seemed to have way too much rear brake bias as standard. The 72 has very long gearing and felt a bit quick for the Indy track, but it was great fun and I managed to almost equal the quickest time on RSR, although I suspect that's changed now since last night! I'll be having a go at Spa in the 72 next time my wife works late driving

The type 25 is bonkers when you're going for it.

Escort on Brands is my new favourite combo in the game, just brilliant.

Had a go in the Escort at Brands, great fun although I did think the engine noise was a bit lacking somehow.

I think you're right about the brake bias on the T25 Rob, I kept losing the back end under braking. Loved all the adjustability and movement through the corners though.

Tried the Merc GT3, found it a bit boring after the above two tbh although I was surprised at just how much the back end will come out to play if provoked.

Loving the Mustang, it's a nice balance of speed and handling with an element of typical muscle car but not so crude as to be horrid.

The new track... I heard someone nail a description of it as being like an old Need for Speed track, it is. Far too wide imo but otherwise quite fun, not sure about the alien spaceship though :\

There's a server hosting the Nordschleife called Carbon something or other I'm usually on, always up for a lap or two.

Ordered. Not that I have a PS4 yet I've held off until this is released. Now have a G29 wheel and omega wheel stand so will practice on GT6

Great video of a 'track day' on the Nordschleife on Assetto Corsa - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8298nK9X2mM

Other AC videos on his channel.

And if you want to know how he does it - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Y7UVVr51bs
