Thanks.

I had it on bf3 so maybe it will turn out to be worth it, but I'll just play for now and see how it goes.

I'm completely sold on hardcore mode now. Been playing it exclusively for the past week and now find it much better. Actually scoring higher up the leaderboards too which I didn't expect as it is actually harder in many respects. Love that it's possible to be properly stealthy and the maps take on a whole new dimension (found loads of areas I've never noticed playing softcore). The laser sights actually make a difference now without a target super imposed in the middle of the screen too!

Just got the xbone. Did anyone else have difficulty hitting enemies in comparison to playing on the 360?

I'm hoping BF4 is waiting at home for me, otherwise it will be a red royal mail card!

Back in the fold tonight ( not played 360) over summer, need to add more GT's off the list to lobby up with.

Gt : swankbaton

BF4 or Forza 5 tonight?

Managed to get a couple of games in after the update and it's definitely an improvement.

I won't get a chance to play properly til later but first impressions are that player movement is much snappier, the medical triage is very useful on operation locker and that its a pain in the arse only having one grenade so I'll probably go back to using the M67 frag.

Bumpety Bump.

Anyone still playing this on here?
I seem to have gone full circle and this is all I play now, loving it more than ever!

Some BF3 maps have been added as DLC (Caspian Border, Op. Firestorm etc). Nice, but I still play Goldmud over and over again.

Bump this up, former cod player who has been well and truly bitten by the bf bug.

Bought my xbox one few months back and forced myself to play hard line as cod is just dying on its ass nowadays. Fast forward to now and I only play hard line and bf4.

Only issue is my mates are still only involved in cod so I play on my Larry.

So feel free to add me TWONK FEATURES

Would be good to play with people who actually want to play the objective

Ps message me as well so I know your off PH B)

Is bf4 online only? Sat broadband here so glacial latency (ping 750ms+ !!) means no online gaming frown

Re-bought BF4 For the One recently, been missing a decent FPS and online has not disappointed. Went straight for Premium with all the DLC's and has made epic gaming.

I got it too. Was hard to track down a second hand copy. Absolutely transformed the game play going from 24 players to 64.

Really impressed with the way it plays after all these years.

Is the DLC worth the extra? I thought long and hard about getting them on 360 but decided not to. I figured because the game was older people that would have it now may not be interested in the extra levels. I got a lot of the extra maps on bf3 free when I luckily saw a deal they were doing. Haven't seen anything similar for bf4

Dlc is worth it, some really good maps.

Cool I will look into it. I just get a bit annoyed as people move on. There were some cracking Dlc maps for bf3 and you just couldn't play them anymore as less and less people had the game.

I just bought an Xbox One with BF4, yes, slightly late to this party.

How do I get the BF3 maps? Do I need to buy one of the bazillion premium options - £40 sounds like an expensive expansion pack?

It's called Legacy Operations or something along those lines, the download.

Thanks, think I have that one (it was free) - but when I tried it I ended up in something I didn't recognise as a BF3 map, perhaps a different legacy one. Will have to try it again.
