Relative newby question as I'm only level 28, I seem to be spending half my gaming time running back and forth between settlements trying to keep them happy, they have enough beds/food/water what the feck else do they want?
and you've got to sleep with all the women - then you get 100% happiness

That's good then. I'm only 60 something do got a bit longer playing it yet! smile
Finally shot 2 Ancient Behemoths - stats are 190, 130, 0 ,100, completing my hunt for all the high level enemies - this compares to 145, 100, 0, 50 for a normal Behemoth (not much higher than Warlord stats) . Took all of 33 shots and about 2+ seconds with my explosive assault rifle. Slightly disappointing.
Have recently reacquired my 2076 World Series Baseball bat from Arturo and am raising my melee perk stats as I aim for a home run hit on some high level targets. Should be fun to see them fly across the screen.

Found myself visiting places I've already been to.
I must assume the waters got into them, because no interaction and they don't move.

Think I've done most things now, struggling to find new things to see and visit which is a shame as I want to keep playing it. not really interested in the whole settlement thing (tbh don't fully understand it)

Just found an explosive combat rifle to join my assault rifle and 10mm pistol. Modded it to powerful auto and then compared it to my assault rifle and also now modded to powerful auto from armor piercing auto. Rated at 149 damage plus 30 explosive for the combat and 140 for the assault. Used a SM Warlord with full armor as the target (145 rated). Interestingly they both did the same damage. Also retried the assault rifle in armor piercing - rated 120 - and it did the same damage.
Morale of this story is it doesnt matter if you go for armor piercing auto or powerful auto in the weapons mod - they both do the same damage on a Warlord despite the damage figures telling you otherwise.
The Explosive Assault rifle still king due to its higher fire rate and 80 magazine (40 on combat rifle).

You should have a play about with the settlements, it's a little confusing/tricky to start off with but it does have benefits!

They also get happiness points by you being around them/visiting them!

If you build a bell, you can summon them all, and just stand there. Watch the happiness increase smile

Still searching for my explosive combat or assault rifle, but my explosive auto shotgun rocks. Mirelurk Queen pops up, gone in a flash (or several actually). And I'm still to put points into the Commando perk so not yet at full power.

Just don't get too close to the thing you are trying to blast especially if it's made of metal whistle

The majority of the drops I get off legendary enemies are total rubbish - useless perk armour I'll never use and crap weapons like a "furious rolling pin". I've just taken down a level 60 legendary Mirelurk King and you reward me with a rolling pin? Cheers rolleyes

I'm just at the point of choosing the Mass Fusion or Spoils of War mission, but I'm still only level 38. I think I'll back off a bit and do some more side-missions.

I actually took the BoS option, flew to the Mass Fusion building, and as soon as the battle with the Synths started my PS4 started to lag and eventually froze rolleyes Luckily, the game hadn't saved so when I started again I hadn't made the decision.

Create lots of saves so you can go back and try all the branches of the main story!

On my second play through on the PC (first was on PS4) I've only done the main missions up to venturing into Glowing Sea. I think I've done almost every side mission and I'm now almost level 60...still need to complete the bobble head collection first!

Still on the first play through (Institute branch) and have hit 61 now (only playing on hard) but completing the bobblehead collection is the main priority for me - only need 3 and I know where they are but annoying I missed one of them during one of the side missions meaning another mammoth battle with a load of super mutants!

I wonder when the mods are coming to console too - I'm debating whether to buy a new gaming PC so that I can experience some of the Fallout mods, but if they are imminent for PS4, then I probably won't bother. Anyone know?

Probably when the Garden of Eden Creation Kit for Fallout 4 is released, which is the tool used to create mods and add scripting code to enable anything to be done. At the moment Pc mods have been made by those who are very clever, or experienced at modding Skyrim and a bit of finger in the air testing.

Skyrim was released November 2011, the GECK was released February 2012. So possibly a similar time frame, this month or next?

I'm after an explosive shotgun and an explosive minigun to complete the set. Have an incendiary minigun which is fun but doesnt do the area effect damage of the explosive perk. Max out the Lone Wanderer perk too if you get the chance - its overlooked but adds +25% to EVERY weapon!! Best to do this after you complete the companion quests.

Looks like Bethesda still haven't fixed the Cait Power Armour bug.

If you command Cait to get into Power Armour, once she is in then all the components will disapear (not just unequip but literally vanish) and she will be in a bare frame.

If you move all the components to your own inventory first, then command her to get in, then she will and you can then Trade the components back to her and equip them. But then she will damage the parts very, very quickly thereafter. So best to Fast Travel home immediately and get her out of it again.

On this playthrough I only use Dogmeat as a companion and the others on a need to basis. I guess I'm more of a lone wanderer biggrin So no Power Armour Destroying Cait for me.
