I'm asking you lot on behalf of my son (who is 10) - what kind of software is needed to create something in the game? He's very determined to draw/model an item from scratch. A hamburger, of all things. Is there a special software for these purposes? We tried to google, but ultimately failed.
Thanks
Eric

3D Studio Max or Blender (free) would be a good start - https://www.blender.org/

And the Bethesda Creation Kit, available from Bethesda.net - http://www.creationkit.com/fallout4/index.php?titl...

Have a look at this - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7957/?

And this video tutorial

Fallout 4 VR - "Fallout 4 VR sounds like a much more ambitious project, the full game made playable on the HTC Vive, presumably with hand controllers and everything. It s coming out in 2017, so we ll have to wait a bit to see exactly what that looks like, but it s an exciting prospect nonetheless."

I was struggling with my survival play through. After a couple of hours of getting squashed by the same ghoul I decided to take a couple of days off. Had a good night last night though. Bought pray and spray which helped me chew through a pile of legendarys on a mission I hadn't done before. This netted me a 10mm pistol with fire damage which was my favourite close quarters gun on my other play through. Mission was digging in which is found in Goodneighbour, well worth doing if you haven't done it before.

Build tip, using a concrete post and combining items to make them sit better in the landscape.

Anyone having issues with this? Lately I'm getting slight stuttering in the graphics - even during the loading screen the rotating object isn't doing it smoothly anymore.

What mods (if any) do you have installed?

Got a great legendary drop last night. A double shot lever action rifle, it could be my new go to sniper rifle if I could get ammo for it. Off to Far Harbor I go .

Nvidia gfx card? If so:

Download Fallout 4 Configuration Tool - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/102/?
Then use it to turn off your in-game vsync, then turn vsync on through your Nvidia control panel (or Nvidia inspector)

If that doesn't fix it try this - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/332/? it's not an ENB it's just the memory and stutter fix. Follow the install instructions you should end up with 3 files (d3d11.dll, d3dcompiler_46e.dll and enblocal.ini) to put into your main Fallout 4 folder. Then edit the enblocal.ini file this line

VideoMemorySizeMb=6000 <--- change this number.
How to work out the number - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSz84F1kgkM

Also if you find textures aren't loading quickly either (low res for a few seconds before the higher res textures loads) change the "MipMapskip" setting in the performance section of the config tool to "-1"

I am, ever since update. I though it was down to turning run speed up and double jump but I've deactivated and still does it.

Finished the main quest (4 days of game play) and now off to find some interesting things a level 56 chap should. I don't think I'll bother with the DLC though as there should be a few more days of wandering around to do in Boston.

Automatron was good. Gives you robot companions as well.

I do like building a complete psychopath of a robot. Twin gatling lasers and then send them into a place with lots of ghouls.
