Discussion
Yeah, just watched the IGN discussion about this.
Bethesda will have the first conference slot at E3 on the Sunday - a day before the main event opens, so it seems inevitable that it will be a Fallout 4 announcement, probably only a teaser trailer at this point, but they'll lock down the event with it
They were also saying, that there was only a 5 month gap between the initial announcement of Fallout 3 and the release date - do we think this could be the case again or will Bethesda have succumb to the now common 'in 18 months time plus 6 month delay' timeframe?
I've always been slightly more inclined to TES than FO, and the buildup to Skyrim's release was fantastic.

There seems to be a lot of chatter about the imminent announcement of Fallout 4, but nothing concrete to suggest it's coming. I really hope they do announce it, I'd put and order in the next day if they did. But, despite the posturing of booking a big slot at E3 and making a fuss over their press conference, it could just be a scattering of lesser titles and not the one we all want.
I can't see it being another Elder Scrolls just yet. Would they book their first E3 conference and make such a fuss about it for Doom?... I doubt it.
Whenever a Fallout 4 rumour has come up Bethesda have been quick to slap it down. They've said nothing about the huge amount of current speculation all over the internet about F4. It could be they're enjoying the clamour, but can you imagine the disappointment if they turned up, announced Doom and some extra content for TESO then went home. They'd be pilloried and it would be totally smothered by the rest of E3 in the days after.
Hit out hard, not just with a teaser trailer for F4, but lots of footage, details and a release date for Christmas this year and they'll steal everyone's thunder before E3 has even truly begun.

I can't imagine them making it out of there safely if they did that!! Oooh, a Skyrim remastered for PS4 - yup I'd have that too.

It wouldn't need a big trailer. A static image of the number 4 while Ron Perlman earns a silly amount of money for saying one line would make the internet explode.Whenever a Fallout 4 rumour has come up Bethesda have been quick to slap it down. Apparently, according to Bethesda, there will shortly be "an announcement" about Fo4.

Awesome. That would be a reason to buy one. JonRB said:
I'm sure whatever the announcement is at 3pm that it's going to be merely a teaser. It'll be something like "We *are* working on Fo4 and we'll tell you more at E3".
I think they'll show a little bit more to steal E3 before it even starts.Or it'll be like Fallout 3 and NV first trailers were it's just a slow pan back to reveal a guy in power armour
