For those who were asking about how many Power armour suits they are here on a map, spoilered.

From here - http://fallout4map.com/

I screenshot only the Power Armour so as to not reveal other things, but if you want to check out what you might have missed you can select or deselect anything on the map.
Great map thanks.

I've just spent a rainy day where you can't play with your car collecting all of the Bobbleheads from the locations on that map great fun.

I hardly ever use my power armour, I used it to go to the glowing sea and it felt massively op. I prefer to wear a basic outfit wit individual armour pieces over it. I have road leathers with various bits but you can use fatigues, the vault suits and some other stuff.

I found a legendary Deathclaw the other day though, so I'm going to get the Power Armour out to have a go at it.

I hardly ever bother with the power armour. It really annoys me that I can't seem to work out if I am taking radiation or not so I take a stimpak then don't generate HP.. Wasted quite a few that way. I am sure I am being a muppet.

I think I have about 30 cores in stock... Mind, I quite fancy producing a Jet Pack at some stage to go exploring some places just in case....

The hp meter goes red with radiation in the same way as your health bar does but it's really slow because your rad resistance is so high.

New to fallout games, would someone be able to advice me on some armour please? I've just picked up the general's uniform and equipped that, is this ok I'm level 18 not been to diamond city yet just messing about
Find yourself some power armour there are plenty of sites that can direct you to set. I've been playing the Fallout series it seems forever but the first thing I always do is grab some power armour there are so many things that want to kill you out there.
I about 5 power armour but rarely use it was after some advice on normal armour

PC or console?

If PC install this - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/745/?

It increases the number of base suits/clothes/armour that can have layered armour added to them. I use Kelloggs armour now instead of road leathers as a base, you couldn't add anything to it before but now you can add extra armour layers and I prefer it to Power Armour. But then again I never use VATS either smile

Anyone else explored the multi-storey car park across from Fallon's dept store? Man, that place is messed up.

Great source of springs, gears, and grenades from all the traps though

There's also a pinky-pink paint scheme for power armour on the top level hehe

Seems I'm way behind everyone else as I thought I would be! I've just cleared out the Super Duper Mart, Corvega Factory etc. Loving it so far, despite it's flaws. My slim PS4 seems to constantly have the fan on full and I had some real slow downs in the Corvega factory.

Hoping to get another couple of hours in later and maybe reach Diamond City.

Bloody glowing legendary mirelurk. Maybe I am just not high enough level yet, but these things seem invincible! I got a direct hit with a fatman. No effect. Got a bottle cap mine on it.... no effect. I ended up in many pieces because it went off too close. I was reading about the gamma gun and it says +50% damage on Mirelurks. Must be broken as it does the square-root of naff all to them.

.308 to the face seems to do decent damage. But again, not to the glowing ones. I just need to get past him so I can turn on this dudes turrets and get a hold of a special sniper rifle called the Overseers Protector, or something to that effect. Or is it Reba II?
Got to hit them in the face, shotgun in the face sorts them out usually OR... OR currently just a super sledge anywhere on them :]
I think you can just run past them. That's what I did the first time (since given up on that but will return soon).

It's the Reba 2 that you get. Just dose 50% more damage to bugs. If you want the Overseers Protector you need to buy it from the nice lady in vault 81. Well worth the circa 2500 caps! Mine still a .45 and dose 130 damage per shot! That's better than my 50 cal sniper! Lol

Are there any other really good guns in the game?
Managed it in the end, sniping them from the chruch rooftop. Though I think I lucked into it as the glowing one just stood there staring at me, taking round after round in the face. Got the Reba II, shes a beaut. Is it supposed to have the long electronic scope thing? I find the graphics effect of that when you look through it really brings the FPS down counteracting its usefulness.

Moved up the road to the Children of Atom camp. What a bunch of bds. Retreating to the church of witch craft wasn't the best of ideas either. In fact, a whole other world of pain! Hint I think you need to be level 50 to stand a chance!

Had some great fun today. Haven't had this feeling in a game since Skyrim and fallout 3 before that.

Was going to do some minute men missions but as per usual saw a small town and went "ohh, that looks interesting", spent three hours creeping through town taking out ghouls, raiders, had my first run in with what I thought was a small group of super mutants (it was a small army), army robots, glowing ghouls and a bloody deathclaw.

Went into the hospital in the town and was confronted with the small army of super mutants, had my first encounter with a suicider which scared the life out of me. A lucky shot blew the fker up. After I dealt with them went exploring again and begin to hear something big breathing nearby. So I decided to sneak to a better position and lo and behold, there's a deathclaw hiding inside a truck trailer so I quickly ran away!

Yeah they are annoying! Gamma guns seem to be very OP against me. Around 5 hits and I'm totally dead thanks to the rads. Although i was around that area yesterday looking for a bobble head and could hear a BOS chopper thingy overhead. And lots of gunfire and gamma shots going off so investigated. I found 2 BOS guys in power armour taking on the COA guys. I just stood behind the power armour guys and looted all the bodies.

Once the brotherhood had killed them all I dropped the two of them and stole the parts of there power armour. So it dose pay to investigate gunfire some times. smile

Anyone managed to shoot the fusion core out of power armour yet?

If you can manage to headshot a suicider then you can loot a mini-nuke from their body. If you blow them up, you can merely loot "nuclear material" for crafting. So definitely worth trying to headshot them.

I am so into this game right now. I got over 30 Fusion Cores so I'm never out of it!
Mega short of aluminum to keep it in good shape and do the tasty gun mods.
I've found the best thing to buy with is... money! It's everywhere and each bit is worth 8 caps and it doesn't weigh anything.

The guy voicing Nick Valentine is absolutely spot on, and I can't wait to start the Winter's End mission or something which is something to do with the guy he's programmed from.

Utterly utterly superb.

As far as aluminium goes, TV dinner trays are your friends. I think alarm clocks have a bit in them as well as some nuclear material.

Ok, I am being a muppet BUT when the food is low and there is no-where to plant more, what do you do?

The old food I can't harvest or remove?!?!

You need to assign settlers to tend the crops. Each settler can tend about 6, I think.

Having said that, I do have some crops that never yield harvest and I can't select or remove. I think that might be a bug. Fortunately I only have about 6 like that.
